The old cars:

1. Astra 1.3 - died on the side of the A419 - one breakdown too many
2. Megane 1.6 - dull, boring, French, sold
3. MGF 1.8 VVC - killed in a Merc-BMW sandwich on the M40

Having scorned BMWs and their occupants for many years, I'm now driving a 320d Saloon. Not only a BMW, but a diesel!? It's a wonderful car, but at some point, without me noticing, I turned into a grown-up and I'm not sure I like it... :eek7:

White Mark II 1.1 ghia Fiesta.
Brought two weeks after passing my test. Written off two weeks after that.
Orange Mark I 1.1L Fiesta
Very battered little car that i had for a while. Terrible bodywork, lovely engine. The one day it wouldnt start after a heavy downpour one night i was staying at my gf's house. My Stepdad come and towed it back. While we were towing it he told me to bump it in second. No Joy, then he told me to bump it in first and there was a terrible noise and lots of cogs fell onto the road.
Black MKII XR2 Fiesta
Drove it around with a blown head gasket. Ended up with a blown engine.
Light Blue Mark III 1.3L Escort Estate
Less said about that the better.
Blue MKII 1.1 Ghia Fiesta.
Nice little car that leaked from the passenger side door when it rained.
Dark Blue Ford KA 2
First newish car i ever owned. Had to give it back to the finance company when my wife got pregnant with first son and planned to give up work.
White 2.0 L Cavalier Saloon
£250 bargain at the auction. Drove until its years MOT ran out and sold to a scrappy for £25

Current car is a Daewoo Nexia GLXI. I know but it was cheap and it has air con. I pretend its an astra :)

Ive been driving motorbikes for 25 years and cars for about 16 years. Im fucked if Im going to make a very boring list of every car and bike Ive ever had. it would be very long and no one would read it anyway.
However, ones that stand out in my mind, bikes, well my current CBR900RR is the best made bike Ive ever owned. it goes round corners superbly, and is finished like far far better than any other bike Ive ever had. The other bike that immediately stand out in my mind is the Yamaha XS750 I had in the early to mid eighties. This bike was a piece of shit. After 25000 miles it need a rebore (!) , even then I once did 180 miles in a journey, put a litre of oil in half way and it still ran out of oil and did the crankshaft. I had 2 engines for it, 2nd gear never worked in either. It wouldnt start properly on the electric start because of the way the starter clutch was designed, also because the button used to fall out. However, looking back, some of the best times me and my girlfriend (now my wife) ever had were with this bike. We went all over the country loads of times. It was a good learning curve :)
As far as cars go, well, cars are tedious arnt they? My last V6 Vectra was a good family car to be honest, as far as cars you lot might want to know about, well company-wise ive had an XR4x4 (utterly juicy but fun) an Nissan ZX300 Fairlady (like a capri with a big engine in it. Black, and got me 'nuff respect in Crawley high street.;) ) A MR2 turbo in pearlescent white, the gayest car Ive ever been forced to drive.
My current car is a very boring '02 black Mondeo, which contrary to all that is holy I really like, its comfy and goes down motorways at 90-100 just the same as any other car.

LOL you would think so wouldnt you.

The Fiestas were cheap and cheerful first cars. The escort was desperation & the XR2 i actually wanted. But hey i was 18 thats my excuse.

Actually now you come to mention it i always wanted a Ford Capri :eek7:

No, our is a 5 seater. Didnt want the 7 cos it dosnt come with a spare wheel.

As far as the car goes, its fantastic tbh. 2L TDi is as strong as an Ox and pulls like a ferking train. Level of build and comfort is as expected from VW.
Really is a great car.

Highly recommended.

Hmmm this could take a while.

1. Escort Mark 2 (shudder)
2. Cavalier 1.6 (shudder)
3. Escort Mark 3 (wrote it off but dated the girl in the other car)
4. Astra 1.3 mark 2(great actually)
5. Cavalier SRi (shit)
6. Astra Mark 2 1.6 (pile of shit, crank shaft went)
7. Escort RS Turbo(pile of shit and over rated)
8. Metro GTi(loved it)
9. Alfa Romeo 1.7 (fucking great)
10. Saab 9000 Turbo(best car so far)
11. Impreza STi (fantastic)
12. Alfa Romeo 3.0 V6 (this was my dads car so I inherited it)
13. Impreza UK Turbo Wagon(fantastic car and I still have it BUT there were others in between).
14. Nissan Skyline GTS-T type M (pulled like a train but not a patch on the scoobys)
15. Saab 9000 Turbo(gave it my cousin after my dad died and have since had it back)

Theres definately more and there is about 9 motorbikes in there as well.

I love cars and by far the most impressive has been the Saab for cheapness and reliability and they are actually faster than you would think.

I've considered buying a Saab should I start doing serious mileage again. As a second car, that is. Then again, there is this lovely looking Audi A8 with an LPG conversion on AutoTrader for 4 grand......

Bodhi, you must be under 5 foot tall. You are the only man capable of driving that car.

I'm 6 foot 2 :)

It only really ever had 3 seats, the one behind me was useless considering the seat was as far back as it would go. It wasn't actually too bad, was comfy enough on the drive to Scotland and back, did the journey pretty quick too.
