What job do you have/want?
What qualifications/skills did the employers look for when you applied?
What does it briefly involve on a day to day basis?
What do you like about it?
Master of all I survey (New Media Director for GAME)
Experience - various Internet related roles since 1995 'an all-rounder'. BSc in Business and MSc in 'Technology Management'
Running this place and getting lots of grey hair
Despite everything, its a brilliant job
Seriously, don't pass up on education. I left school at 16 with 5 O levels, did an engineering apprenticeship and got a BTEC, but there really is a 'glass ceiling' for most people without a degree unless they go self-employed (not everybody, but a degree and better yet a masters, helps a lot). So I went to Uni aged 23 and never looked back. Plus, college is really, really great; I got to be a teenager twice. At 18, there's no need to rush into doing a course you don't want to do, it took me a long time to realise that engineering was a dead-end for me, but don't close the door to academia just yet.
