MTG im so glad i stopped playing that as it was soooo addictive and was wasting so much money on it. Everytime i got paid most of it went on buying cards lol soooo expensive and addictive. It was more like a strange drug hehe.

What expansion are they upto now? i stopped just after ice age come out... long time ago

with ice age released there was around 1300 different cards , now they are at 11000 different cards or so.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Magic:_The_Gathering_sets

still expensive to play , on the other hand some of the old cards have gotten quite valuable , ive been playing since "the dark" was released and some of the common stuff from back then can fetch some nice new cards.

anyhows if you are really good at it you can make an account on mtgo , read up on the metagame , netdeck the best deck ,and grind 2 player ques for fun and profit :)

I think I'd object rather strongly to being referred to as a hobby...unless someone wants to experiment on me and see if they can give me superpowers, I wouldn't mind too much in that case.

wife as hobby....interesting

something you do for fun?
an interest you share with other like minded men?
you do it in the garden shed?
open to all ages?
can be relatively inexpensive to start off with but the more you get into it the more you have to spend?

Well when you look at it;

- We love hobbies.
- We find them interesting on a personal level, something that defines us.
- We spend a lot of time on them, especially more if we love doing them.(cough)
- We consider hobbies as something that relieves stress and takes us away from the daily grind, relaxing us and refueling us.
- We chose to have these hobbies, from all of the hobbies around, we chose it.

So, if you look at it, is comparing a wife to a hobby so bad? :D

I think that´s the difference. A skateboard can´t say "fuck off". :D

Well...after extensive research, i found that it can. See the reasearch at the highly rated science site "youtube" and look for "skateboard fall" :D
