Whats up with albs?

Not much to add. (Almost) all was said.

Not only do Albs need 5 classes to get the same amount of comparable abilities into a group as 3 mids/hibs. Not only does it take way more effort to effectively work as a group, since essential abilities are spread over too many chars. No, we also miss out on a fourth CC ability: the Snare.

I am not talking about the crappy DD + 35% snare, which is close to useless, but the AE root/snare hibs have - and (less effective)the single target snare of skalds.

So grats to all Alb groups who repeatedly manage to win any 8 vs. 8 against our enemies. You are either incredibly lucky or much better group players then they are.

IMO the average Alb doesn't suck more, then the average Mid/Hib. You just need to be a more skilled player to be a an effektive Alb. (Not saying that mid/hib don't have skilled players - pretty sure they have as many as Albs do).

So heads up Albs. You don't suck! You just need to put in that little extra brain cell of yours to win some RvR fights.

For all who don't have spare brain cells: Go Hib or Mid please. You won't have a good time in Albion.

Edit: I am aware of Cabbie being theoretically able to get AE Snare, but in a spec-line past 30, which speccing in makes him almost useless. So that's like having no AE root, really ... If you find one of those cabbies, add him to the 5 Albs in group allready, makes 6 (and 4 cloth wearers)

Try to compare a dot class like a matter cabalist and a
subterranean shaman, both specced to last ae dot, and consider pet is pretty useless in rvr :)

Major difference is :

Shaman = specced DD, specced bolt, Chain, selfbuffs, resurrect, ae root, more hp's, resist buffs, shield and ip as RA.

Cabalist = QC, bt, some debuffs !, unspecced lifedrain !, specced nearsight, absorb and a bugged pet.

Well in rvr it comes down to QC, bt and nearsight for cabalist contra shaman advantages.

This is just 1 eksample where you would prefer a non alb class for
a specific purpose.
