Avoid GTA Vice City like the plague.

Don't fall for all the fanboy shit saying "BEST GAME EVAH!!!" - I actually played it and it's bollocks.

What I have owned every GTA Game since they came out, and Vice City is as every bit as good as the rest even more so in some areas, even though Im talking about the PC versions. The citys may not be as big as GTA GTAL or GTA2 but they were 2D, but VC has helicopters which Kick Ass. I wouldn't say its the best game ever but its certainly up there with the best...... well until GTA4 comes out

NB: To those who were being lame as ever, knock it off, go argue in a playground instead, thanks.

Oh & there isn't anything wrong with VC if you take it for what it is, a "no better than the original" extension of series title.

Lies,

It's by far the best of the GTA series. Not everyone's cup of tea but a good game in it's own right.

Vice City is a great game, how anyone can say it's rubbish i spent months on it well worth £40. Great stress relief too. Though i found once completed the story missions it did get boring trying to find packages etc..though once a game is completed i buy a new one.

Anyway, worse game on ps2, Dark Cloud was pretty poor and as was the first smackdown game. But i've learnt my lesson and read the reviews first.

Worst game?
Most of them....when I had a PS2....let me explain before you all slag me off.

I was an early adopter, got a PS2 straight off the boat.
Looked at all the shiny software available and bought a few titles (i can't remember what they were now it was a long time ago).
The impression I got from playing them was...."What shit, I played better on the PSOne"
And they were bollocks.
Anyway, I shifted the PS2 to a mate, and lo and behold if the games didn't get better pretty soon after.

I got an XBOX later on....now at least it had some games on release that were good....well at least one.

i'm quite impressed by some of the games that I've seen on my ex-PS2 like the gimmicky SOCOM... "phub phub bravo" - "Roger sir, bravo moving to position", but I'm not going back now.

My dads got a PS2 that I play from now and then, usually find myself playing Tekken Tag, but I prefer my Xbox though.

But my dad likes the PS2 cause it has lots and lots of racing games on which he loves.

Atv offroad fury.

Don't blame it on me, however, I was forced to play the damned thing by the complete lack of games while visiting a friend up North...

colin mcrae's rally 3. not cos it was a terrible game per se, but the handling was wrong. you would turn into a corner in the gear nicky grist tells you to and immaediately you would slide into a tree. more annoying than bad really.

There will never be a truely realistic driving sim ever no matter what the companies say, Ive never played a driving game that has anything near realistic braking ever.
Worst game, metal gear solid 2 mind numbingly boring and repetative and a plot that just shouldn't.

your second statement indicates how much credibility should be attached to the first. the braking is pretty spot on in gt3:a spec. anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.

Mafia has prolly the most realistic driving physics, than any other driving sim on any format, mainly cause the whole Mafia world has realistic physics.

Shut it boy!!!
Can you actually drive? If you can't feel the movement you can't judge correctly, its as simple as that.

yes i can drive, pretty damn well aswell. have done 3 trackdays now in my Delta Integrale, and the braking in gt3 is still spot on and really quite easy to judge, especially considering it tells you where and when to brake and by how much.

its far more realistic than GT3.

even though they are 1930's cars, which I have driven a Replica from the era.

Heh, good to know I'm not the only one who thought GTA:VC was overrated. I preferred the first 3 GTA's..

Worst game? Hmm...Eternal Ring was cack. Gotta hate relatives choosing birthday presents without consulting you first.

Okay maybe u should wake up from that dream of yours where the GT series has the best driving physics ever, yet Mafia was released after both GT and GT2, and their aim was to provide a realistic driving part to the game.

BTW Mafia is a miles better game than than any other the GT games. I've prolly said this before, if they made a game with Mafia's huge City and GTA pick up and play factor, then it would be the best game ever.

Um duh, the whole point of GT is it has the most realistic driving physics ever. i personally dont give a crap when mafia was released, its driving physics are still pish compared to GT3. you appear to be in a minority of one thinking mafia is better. i suppose mafia also models how suspension changes will affect the handling of the car, and can also give you the exact time it would take a Skyline R33 to get round trial mountain.

Pff MSR or Project Gotham Anyday.

Anyway worst Ps2 game out of the ones i've played i'd have to say Burnout1.

Completed it in 20mins plus the green arrows telling you were to go obstructed your vision so you couldnt see anything.

No, the whole point of the GT series is to convince you its got the most accurate driving physics ever, but take my word, it aint. Its got close enough to convince most people it has, but from a technical level, it aint upto Mafia. (which uses an external closed source physics engine to do its calculations).

That doesn't stop GT3 being a more enjoyable game tho.
