Whats the real effect of Mastery of Focus ?

I'm assuming it's very different to having say +11 to skill for the
purposes of variance. I could look it up, but often its an in-line
popup with a small bit of text that doesn't adequately let me
know what the 'real impact' of it is ?

Can any Sorc suggest good RA's to go for upto RR5 for a 40b/36m

mof increase the lvl of the spell u cast so the target has less chance to resist. for example if u cast a lvl 34 mezz, u prolly need mof2 which will +9 to ur spell and make it to 43 lvl ( less chance that the enemy resist ur mezz)
the spell lvl capped at 50, so it's a question of which spell is most important for u. normally for caster taht use 45lvl + specc nuke they only neeed mof1.
but for sorc u prolly want to have mof2 or 3.

chance of resist on an even con is 15% + 0.5% per level of the spell below their level.

MoF removes some of that second part of the equation.

Level 2 of MoF (9 levels) effectively reduces resist chances by 4.5% but only on spells lower than level 41.
