Well I think it's gone downhill. I think the storyline's are silly these days. It was much better with Mavis and Derek fretting about their gnomes. And there's no fit birds in the cast these days. I've completely lost track of who's running the Rovers' now. I prefer Brookie...

I never really had anything to complain about CS until last night... I've been playing for ages, seen many cheaters come and go but the new breed of cheater is already doing my nut in. Wallhack. It's been about for ages but the people using it now don't even try to hide the fact that they are cheating, then when questioned.

Another round goes by and he does it again shooting very accurately through walls etc, you get the picture. Really, what is the point in releasing version after version if the same cheats/hacks are still present, why release another version when u haven't fixed the previous problems. It's just stupid </rant_over>

Well firstly, i think you will find they can only fix cheats they know about, so there will always be something around. Second there is a new wallhack going around the old one does not work anymore, it should have been fixed. The Cs team can't predict every line of code someone could come up with then make thier program invunrable, get realistic.

Third there is a way to deal with cheaters, wall hackers being the most blatant and easy to stop and spot.
1) Start recording a demo, bring down your console and type "record demoname".
2) Type "satus" in the console and note down their won id.
3) Type /kill in the console at start of round to kill yourself and the find the person u think is cheating and follow them till you have proof, I recommend 3 rounds of proof for conclusivness.
4)Type stop in console to end recording, alt+tab or swap to irc and go to #barrysworld ask for a CS admin and tell them the player name and server. Tell them you have proof if they need it. This person if tey realy where cheating will now be kicked and banned.

Dont go round accusing people of cheating, especially thoose u suspect and are monitoring, they may stop and come back and do it another day.

Oh and dont know if its the most anoyying thing in CS, but it sure as hell may make me unpopular.

Ok one of the most annoying things in counter strike are the glory supporters. No not the people who support Man U coz they're popular (although they probably do) these are the people who jump to the winning team or the team with the lowest collective ping so that they earn more money for better weapons. Or at least that's why I think they do it coz I can't think of any other explanation other than that they're stupid.
