ok fair point. i probably prefer tfc beacause ive played it more and im much better at it...so i get more out of it.

ok annoying things - this possibly applies to all online games - its the 'holier(holyer?) than thou' attitude of experienced players towards newbies.

ok so some newbies are pretty dumb and do tend to treat it all like a DM. But there are some who are willing to listen and do want to learn how to play the game properly.

in tfc its 'player just fuck off' 'player why are you building an sg there?' 'player ffs blah blah' all this is so unfair.

we were all newbies at one point.

also what pisses me off is the experienced ones who go into a game and make out that theyre new...tking and generally just being a right pain in the arse. plus all those speed cheaters from not so very long ago making the game unplayable for the rest of us.

wall hacks, aimbots etc etc...

yeah - cheaters and good players who believe they have more of a right to be on a server than anybody else, those are the most annoying things.

ppl that slag off good players for bein good

gypsies - ie. not ppl that camp, but ppl that tow their fookin caravan round the map with them - uber camperz

ppl that block your escape route

teamm8's that throw flash at start of round

err....that bout it.

1 thing u all missed out

I hate all those things but the 1 i hate the most is when a knob on your own team, whilst u r buying your weapons gets a smoke grenade and throws it 'correctly' causing it to slowly rattle down your body. If this have neva happened to you it stops u from moving for about 15secs until the smoke grenade has gone out - therefore you cant rush, but the good thing is if its a FF svr i always get them back! :)

Oh yeah and 1 more thing is the newbies that havent figured out you can buy things by pressing the numbers in CS - you know cos they r still at spawn 20secs after every1 else and their head is darting around around everywhere.

part from that all Tkers etc thats it!

omg it was an intended comment u fool - i dont TK them unless they TK me, it was intened to be hippocritical to c if ne1 is intelligent enough to spot it :) good 4 u m8 - i dont TK for fun but if im being constantly TKd i will take revenge thats all - wouldnt every1 if they were honest!

yeah

yeah i agree that is much better - the only time i TKd some1 btw for that smoke grenade trick tho is when he did it when i was stood right in hallway of Dust - i couldnt move and was cannon fodder! and it doesnt matter neway cos it was an American svr so he was American - so that makes it justifiable aswell dont it :D

Well Cream i'm not sure if I believe you BUT, what i will say is I got over TK revenge long, long ago. What you do is wait for them to get a few TK's get their WON ID and get them kicked/banned or flamed by an admin. Much more satisfying.

For most games service providers you'll find an IRC channel on Quakenet. You'll normally find somebody in there to help.

I can sum up what used to be the most annoying thing for me in CS in just three words - "flush entity packet" Not so much the case these days though.

God I hated that on my 56k. Got it the other day on my Cable Modem and was gonna scream until i realised that i misconfigured my Firewall :)

Just gonna take minor issue with this - taking a "lesser used route" can sometimes win a map. How satisfying is it to sneak up behind an entire team all facing the wrong way and slaughter them? If that means using the rest of your own team as, erm, decoys then so be it :)

ps. Most annoying thing about CS at the moment is having no 'net connect at home 'cos BT can't get their stupid rank arses in gear and sort out an ADSL install to save their c*nting lives.

Aye taking an alternative route is sometimes the best thing to do, but if you are new and your Cs shooting/skneaking skills aren't top noth your going to die. Even worse you may have the bomb with you.

Ok using Dust as the classic example -as terrorists best way to win by far is rush as fast as damn possible TOGETHER, ensuring the bomb carrier is with you. Now distraction runs by team8's and changing tactics is needed, but if you are new stick with the group -these days u are going to get called a newbie by almost anyone, so dont give em the chance.
As CT's -how infuriating is it when no one goes to second site at start?

I don't see the point in whining about LPBs...if you had the money, you'd buy a faster connection (or in your case, if you lived in a DSL area).
I'm content with my 56k seeing as how I'm stuck with it for a while (non-ADSL area) and ISDN is a rip off considering you can get Cable for 20-30 quid...go figure :)

Anyways, enough ranting!

most annoying thing about counter strike at the moment is people who flood the screen with "votemap xx please its a good one" these people are selfish and want their favourite map even though it's usually a shit one like estate or italy.

Its normally a map that they know a good camping spot on and they think they will rack up some kills on it.

What I h8 about CS:

1) PPL that moan about campers,this aint quake or unreal tournement it's bloody CS. The SAS dont say we aint going into iraq cause sadam hussain is camping.

2)BT. I know they aren't really to do with CS, but they fuck it up for most ppl anyway.

3) PPL that can't through flashbangs prop.

4) PPL that call me a cheat cause I whoop their as on a 56k. Practise guys head shots arnt that difficult to get if you aim right!!!!! And also and AK47 has a huge recoil so dont expect every bullet to hit me when u jst hold the trigger down.

5) And most of the things that ppl have put b4 me.........

The most annoying thing about CS is the game itself

Its the most annoying game i have ever played in my entire life

/me awaits abuse about how its not crap, i just cant play it
