Right peeps here it is. Lets see if we cant find out the one thing in Counter-Strike that pisses everybody off without exception.

I'll start us of by saying that I find the most irritating thing to be...

People that don't complete the map objectives and play CS as if it were a deathmatch game.

My pete hate is the person who drives up the motorway in the third lane doing 50mph when all other lanes clear.

  • Retards not running from spawn with knife/handgun out
  • Spastics running 10 meters from spawn, then deciding to stop...RIGHT in front of you
  • Mongols that decide to follow you around making as much noise as possible as you were stealthily sneaking about.
  • Cunts who don't know where the radar is, what it's for, how to use it, etc. Especially on FF servers.
  • Germans on UK servers speaking in german
  • Dutch on UK servers speaking in dutch
  • French on UK servers speaking in french
  • Spanish on UK servers speaking in spanish
  • Cunts that don't even bother skimming the readme.txt and consequently scratch their head when you stab them 1,000,000 times, shoot them in the face with all manner of weapons, scream, cry and use all the available radio commands at them...cos they are standing/just run past the bomb site with the bomb strapped to their back.

I could go on, but I need to go into uni. That reminds me, they should make it possible to choose to be the bomb carrier, much like CTs can elect to be the VIP. At least that way someone who has played the game more than twice (and to be honest, with the number of newbs out there in CS lands these days since commercialisation, it's quite a few of you) can elect to take the bomb and do something useful with it instead of pimp it as a rather homosexual leather fashion accessory.

I agree with Perplex. But also:

  • People that dont RTFM and then pester you the whole game asking what the best gun is, where to go, and accuse you of cheating when you buy more grenades.
  • People that dont understand why siege is a linear boring map, where the hostages are irrelevent and so play it.
  • The bloke who buys a Para then follows the rest of the team with the trigger down, shooting everyone in the back fucking their aim up.
  • People on FF servers with a script that slashes their knife as they run.
  • People who run away from the defensive map objective when they are the last man, or base camp while the last man on a attacking objective.


Oh and Borginsteiner dont come to the forum then, ever consider this is a place where you can talk about anything related to HL/CS/TFC? Good bye Borginsteiner u r the weakest dumbest and most time wasting missing link on the planet.Dont forget to shut the door as you leave.

The most irratating things for me are:-

T's who carry the bomb straight past the bomb site after you have just cleared it and then go and get themselves killed in a crowd of ct's.

Cheaters - speed hacks, aimbots. I dont whine about someone being a cheater when i keep getting killed by them, they are just faster, better, more skilled than me it happens I'm just happy if I get them back once. But I get suspicious when someone keeps getting single headshot kills and nothing else, again it can happen but it is a bit suspect.

Tk's - They seriously piss me off, worse still I was playing cs_estate as ct's last week. And kept finding 1 T and 2 CT's holded up in the same room together killing anyone who came near.

Lastly people who complain about newbies constantly, I consider myself a newbie (been playing about a month) I although I'm not good, I am also not a complete liability.
I follow team plans, plant bombs, cover my team, don't crowd in doorways.

Oh one more people people in games who say ???? is cheating but never answer what it is they are doing that is cheating.

lol, I get called a cheater so much that I'm considering starting a site with condumps of some of the more amusing accusations. Like one guy claiming I had some kind of supercomputer calculating and acting all my actions in CS...made me chuckle.

And on the newbie point, I take the same stance as I do with learner drivers. I don't care if I had to learn to drive once, or had to learn how to play once...I don't anymore, learn somewhere away (preferably very far) from me :p

However, my definition of a Newbie might not be the normal definition. If you know:
  • the map
  • what a bomb is. how to use it. bomb site locations (see above point)
  • what a vip is. the implication of being one. The implication of a VIP on teamwork. Location of the rescue points (see first point)
  • The normal flows of the map and how to react to them. Hence, on Dust the normal 2 T tactics are to rush left into the side courtyard (alternative bomb site to CT spawn) or to camp out at the T side of the corridors. (Taking the underpass is not deemed a normal/common flow). A newbie will always go off in some obscure direction in which the Ts are very unlikely to attack, leaving the handful of CTs that understand what is going on trying to defend against the entire T squad.

There's probably some more but I wanna go home, been at Uni all day.

I don't deem a player whose shot is not very accurate, or is not too hot at avoiding enemy fire to be a newbie. Those are skills that increse and develop with time and practice.

In summary, physical skills aren't newbie (aim, dodging) catagorisations. Mental skills (map knowledge, game knowledge, tactic knowledge (especially tactics)) are catagories that I class people to be newbie or not in.

Class dismissed!

I would have to say that everyone on the other team trying to kill me just really pisses me off....

...oh, and people with high pings - they just ruin it for everyone who's bothered to go out and get cable - constantly whining...JESUS CHRIST...

...and finally, anyone who puts silly letters in square brackets in front of their name...I think it's to do with these clan things - rushing around like they're important or something...I don't know ...

Thats gotta be up there in my top 10. Being flashbanged by people that cant throw em, or throw em stupidly is a total wind up. Whats even worse is that the bugger that throws the grenade usually causes you to die and then gets off without so much as one hit.

CS crashing

Fuckin CS keeps fucking crashing about 5-10 mins into a game.. That fucks me off big time.

I hate emtying an entire P90 clip into the space just above my opponents head.

I hate him capping me with a single head shot in return.

I hate cheaters, TK'ers (who are the reason I gave up on the FF servers) and anyone else who plays in opposition to the spirit of the game.

I also hate those twats who throw grenades about at the start of the round.

I hate facing an entire team of AWM toting pussies (a' la Seige anyone?)

I hate the spawn points on Oilrig as this spoils what could be a good map.

I hate the morons who always join the winning team which results in a 4 man Terrorist advantage on something like Estate.

I hate BT for ensuring that the network in my area is so shagged I won't get DSL for at least 3 years IF THEY CAN BE BOTHERED AT ALL.

I hate LPB's who camp with an AWM, as if they need it.

Apart from that, its a good game.

Actually this is more a HL thing but since I only play CS when I load up HL I suppose it fits.

The fucking WON network being a huge pile of jizzum. Keeps fucking up and I can't authenticate. No auth = no play.

To be honest m8 I think the only real reason you h8 LPB's is because BT are denying you a connection. Having played virtually every round of CS on 56k with my trusty AWM I aint gonna change tactics now just cos my cable ping is a little better (although now the AWM is just a slow scout I doubt I'll be using it as much).

Summary: Dont h8 the LPB just go bitch at Oftel and BT until they get fed up of you and give u DSL :D

Spoke to a BT engineer once. He said the network in my area basically needs pulling down and re-laying. You need a pure copper line for DSL and we ain't got pure copper for any great length where I live.

I can never hit anything with an AWM btw. Don't know why, but I just can't get on with it. When I mention LPB's camping with an AWM, I meant just that.

Its fine to have a sniper covering you, but when he sits in the same spot for the entire round, especially if he's a CT on Italy or equivalent, then it kind of ruins the gameplay a bit.

1) TK's
2) Fucking wankers nerds who always camp cause they are to shit to rush
3) noobies who block you in a rush so you are late at some point you wanted to be first to surprise attack the opponent and thereby get killed
4) fucking idiot teammates who are constantly throwing flashbangs where i am rushing in
5) wararrangers who think they are GOD cause they are in a good and known clan and act rude with no respect
6) lame behaviour when a clan is losing like restarting rounds and fucking around with the server settings.

1. The Magicial bending bullets. This drives me MAD :/

2. The fact that cs has no "im chucking a flashbang" bind included. They are useful, but unless u stop and tell ure team ure gonna do it (esp on pubbies) its highly gay

3. Weapon buying stat scripts (i.e. im buying this etc). Like i give a fuck what ure buying

4. My Nvidia gay dark gl :)/)

5. Pubbies. PLaying with a bunch of team less mongs does really begin to annoy you after a while (only in some cases though, but more lately)

6. lastly, the fact that some rifles are absolutly useless over distances, whereas the ak can do a 1 shot kill from the other side of the map.

Erm, im tired :D
