I slept for just over 24 hours when I flew to Australia, as soon as I got there the jetlag suddenly hit me.

longest i've been "asleep" was 24 hours. it did involve waking up for 10 minutes every 6 hours or so though.

Longest i've stayed awake was at i19... from the friday morning to sunday evening. someone else can work out roughly how many hours that was. i get tired just thinking about it

I'm not a user(heh, of anything but "you know what"), but my longest was my hellweek last time.

I have these lovely "hell weeks" when i can't sleep, can't do anything, not tired, not bored, not emo(would've come up), not depressed. Just, stay awake, play games, eat, and basicly, well, if i'm owrking, same deal. Sleep just goes away.

The reason why it's called hellweek is that it keeps me awake, almost without exception, for 5 days and night and goes away. At the end, it's hell, literally. Also the waking dreams(halluciantion basically) can be somewhat weird. Don't see anything, but you get really paranoid at one point.

So i guess 5 days is the longest awake time.

Sleep time was when i was hospitalised and near death really. I was on/off like a yardlamp on autosensor. Basicly for 4 days, i might have been awake maybe 5.10 minutes max and those times were, well, not "awake" awake.

I once slept for 70 odd hours i had the mumps about 2 years ago and i was dead slept for 70 hours waking up for a pee ect. Watched TV for about 18 hours never leaving bed then slept for 48 hours again before getting back to normal. Best diet i ever tried though i lost 1 st doing no exercise!

Longest awake was a champions league away game drive to Italy watched Arsenal win and then drive back not sure what the hours awake was though.

Longest without sleep: prolly about 48h playing civ 1 non-stop backin the day in uni computer room.

Suspect most of the sleep and lack of sleep abuse here will be gaming or drug related. Come to think of it, not really good reasons to go without sleep for 48hrs+.

my coffee granules usually fill between 1/6th or 1/5th or a large cup, keeps me going!
