Whats the Correct procedure with TKers?

Was just on 213.221.174.40:27019 BarrysWorld - Team Fortress Classic (7) - 2fort only FF on . There was a player repeatedly TKing. What sort of evidance do BW need too get this person banned ? Demos, wonid etc ? . Also who do you report such incidents too ?

Best thing to do is download HalfIRC and use it to go to #bwadmins on Quakenet. Use it during the game so the TKer gets caught in the act.

well what i do is on CS, is if he continues TK'ing continusly, is switch teams, or if you don't wanna do that, just fuck the server off and leave it for 10mins... then by that time he should be bored and leave.

I dont use mIRC coz i rarely go onto BW/Jolt etc Servers coz they are always full and on Dust/Assault etc, and laggy anyway...

Yes, go into IRC and get an admin. You will find if you ask properly in #bwadmins, someone will come imediately, watch him, and then kick

ideally we need to be told as its happening, but as ive seen the past weeks now, cs admins never respond.

i try to deal with as many as i can but im not a full time paid cs admin, i cant spend that much time helping, and at any rate i spend about 10x more time helping people in there than 80% of the other cs admins.

Actually, most GSP's seem to have the same problem. The admin numbers are full, yet the players all complain they can never find an admin. I play on Demon and BW, and in both places, I sometimes get an admin straight away, sometimes I get no response.

But how often do you hear people mentioning on the forums that they got an admin that sorted out thier problems straight away? Very rare.

(And my offer was only a little tounge-in-cheek. I'd be happy to do it, but then, I'm sure every admin already knows one player they could vouch to do the job. Why not sign them up instead?)

Well actually, i'm speaking from personal experiance. I've pretty much given up TFC now, in favour of Q3F, but the last time i needed an admin i got one.

A guy was TeamShooting as a soldier. It's doesn't kill, as no FF, but it's annoying as it takes your armour. I simply went to IRC, asked for a TFC admin, and SerialKiller came on, observed him, and kicked him. To be fair, the last time i was playing CS regularly(bout 2 months ago), i found the CS admins simarly responcive(i got help from an admin on numerous occasions).

Now new year's over, maybe it'll get better.

During the day, admins are pretty scarce, but after the Simpsons is over, there are plenty around. I think most admins have halfirc running, so all I do is leave my message stating server number, offender, and a demo if wanted. Admins will usually pick up on that, and come take a look.

Its worth noting that an admin won't draw attention to him/herself, and will spend time watching the offender before banning them. And they have to be discrete. No 'kill' at the start of a round, cos that draws attention to them.

And people yelling "ADMIN IS HERE U CHEATER NOW UR F**KED" isn't very helpful.

Download Mirc and Halfirc, and if you suspect someone is cheating, quietly demo them, call for an admin, and sit and wait.
