What's that noise?

When running around I Bri Leith a strange noise starts to sound. It goes on for many minutes and them stops. Then it can suddenly start again. The noise sounds like Iim in a large factory with noisy machinery or maybe an army on the march, but not the quiet sound of the outdoors. I can hear a lot of other sounds witch seem to fit the scenery. I think it started after the last patch, but I'm not sure. Is it the game, the soundcard or me there is something wrong with?

Also the Vestern have left the camp.

I thought it was the growl of something chasing me to be honest. Not your sound card though, unless mine has exactly the same problem.

Aye I heard that sound too! Scared the hell out of me!! was near Coruscating Mines during in-game nighttime, really cool

Think I've heard it too.

I heard a constant noise similar to what you described while I was riding a horse through Bri Leith. It stopped (or faded) once I went through Druim Cain.

Not quite sure what it was meant to be...

And here I thought it was a broken fan in my box, but you point might also explain the odd smell.
