Whats prydwen like ?

Hi guys,

My mains are on alb excal , and lately ive been having this weird idea of starting on alb prydwen to see if different aspects of the game are better on prydwen . :help:

For example , whats the basic realm defence and hw action like ? ive always been a fan of sauvage / pennines / hadrians rvr action cause imo it looks best , does much of this happen ?

Do albs defend and retake keeps straight away or leave it for days like on excal ?

Will be easier to start a char having the lvl command and thought id give it a try , or was thinking of contacting goa to see if one of my 50's could be move to prydwen cause all 3 are on seperate accounts .. whats the chances

any info helpful

there are some guilds who are very active in HW defence, Guardians of Power, and Angels of Darkness to name but two.

they as well as other randoms assist in retaking keeps pretty quickly, but some mid+hib farming sessions at beno, eras, renaris etc.. cannot be defeated easily, if at all on the same day they are taken.

Yup very active,camping Hpk and Mpk to make sure noone get's trought to get their precious Camp.forest

dunno about the other realms but 90% of alb/pryd are unhelpful, unfriendly wankers.. what you say, this makes me sound unfriendly too? ask around im certain you will find many people who agree. it used to be a nice place then maybe 9 months into the game something happend and people turned shitty, and now all you get from people is stupid things like "xD" or "^^" what ever the fuck they mean, thats if you get a reply at all.

err yeh i run around diogel begging for money cos i cant afford SC and stuff it used to be a friendly place, before the game got going. the only nice place i have found in this is hib on excal. i get ignored unless its people ive known for most of my time in the game, i even tryed other characters incase my reputation was bad for some reason but no people ignore each other and dont help like they used to.

But tbh as people grow bored with the game they will be less "social".

u need to "feather" the wave-troll there by 5 pixels and use the magnet lasso in Photoshop to make it alot smoother,

But anyway Prydwen is quite zergy atm i went out with meh little Polearms lookin for a solo fight in Odin's and met 1.5 fg mids, the 0.5 group were only following the other tho, but still count as zerg, Odin's is no longer the solo'ers spot

So far i only meet nice people, of course there are some few exceptions, but if you are friendly to people they are friendly to you.

Only problem is that crafters dont respond when you ask for things done, so best you find a guild with some highlevel crafters if youd like some crafting done, because its nearly impossible to find some otherwise.

well a lot of people i speak to agree that people arnt as nice as they used to be, but now everyone posted here saying there is no problem.. tell me why i am so shit that you would ignore me in game? i dont talk to most people and if i do i am friendly, what have i done for everyone to be unfriendly towards me?

Crafters

Most of the crafters (inc myself) has way too many orders so don´t expect us to help you asap.

Especially with the /level command and all....

About the albs, I don´t see too many rude people around. Maybe on some raids but that´s bound to happen.

I'll try to dig up some tutorial sites I had ages ago. My bookies got wiped during a hd crash once.

Funnily enough the only rude people I usually encounter are the ones who spam for a crafter in Diogel and then winge loudly that the crowd of ACers/tailors/Alchemists won't drop everything, reset their tradeskill and skill up a WC to make them a thid sword. Or they winge about how long it takes to make a full suit of 99% armour or that it costs too much. Outside crafting customers though most of the realm is pretty cool.

After playing for ages on Alb/Pryd, I can say that only three people have ever pissed me off to the max. And two of those might have been the same person

And, Chretien, I find that there's a large number of people who genuinely don't know how much good quality crafting costs. Because I'm not legendary, I have the luxury of time enough to explain to these people how it works. After the explanation, they are usually in shock, but polite. One poor guy couldn't understand why, when he could only afford one try on each, one of his swords was 98 and the other 95

If people used basic common courtesy and patience in game a lot of people have no problem helping low level players either with crafting etc. What is frustrating are those that constantly spam 'Can I have some gold?' without a please, thank you etc. and wanting it immediately. Damn rude imo.

If someone approachs with a bad attitude, they get one back, touche!

If you are begging in Camelot, then most people are totally fed up with that and will ignore you. Walking from the east gate to the north, I got 5 begs - wtf. As most of these were new /20's, I have no sympathy. They all have 50 chars who can farm in DF etc. quite happily. Yes, 5s to get to Camelot maybe but not 5 gold etc.

I would say prydwen is friendler than excal by a long chalk - even to gimpy scouts
