Been a while since I posted instead of just lurking, so here goes...

Currently re-branding my website because it's been decided that the name Dementia Designs was potentially holding us back now that we're extending beyond the alternative market. Also trying to figure out ways to increase sales because selling things people want but don't need during a credit crunch has resulted in a 75% drop in sales

Monday I'm off to a see a specialist as the next step in trying to get a diagnosis on the condition that's slowly crippling me. I'm really hoping that they can help because if things carry on the way they are then I'll be in a wheelchair and on constant pain meds within ten years.

I'm also getting my list of painting commissions for Christmas sorted out, because I left it a bit late last year and it turned in to a bit of a mad rush getting them all out to people in time.

Finally, I too am debating on what to do with my mohican. I'm thinking of turning it a ridiculously bright orange.

Mainly been working hard, crunch period has been the last 6-8 weeks so some long hours and a lot of free Dominos. The worst of it is over now, so hopefully back to normal hours. Football Manager 2009 will hit the shops on 14th November.

Other than that I had my birthday, which for the first time ever I had to work on. Not best pleased!

Going to see Mogwai at the Hammersmith Apollo tonight, should be excellent. Got Arsenal v Wigan carling cup coming up on 11th November, and Sigur Ros at Ally Pally on the 20th November.

I got home at 0:45 from a business trip to London because some sack of shite left something they shouldn't have in the ladies lav at London City airport and there was an evacuation, and men with guns and things and my flight got somewhat delayed as you can imagine.

My hair got messed up by the gale force winds this morning. Such a trauma.

Is it Tremlar's wedding day today?

I am currently in battle with everyone and I am tired of it. Natwest bank, Student loans, Uni and my teacher Tutor. The last one is getting me down the most, as I have to spend 6 weeks teaching for her in her classroom, with her rules and her systems and be assessed by her. She hates me being there and everyday I have to go into work with a knot in my stomach.

I am trying to win her round and I will do it, but I thought I would only have to worry about the kids and what I was teaching them, not the teacher!

Ah well, its not like its the end of the world, I just want to be a fun teacher and let my kids explore stuff and build caves in the classroom -not do 'worksheets' all day. But so far she is winning.

It's been a while since I posted anything worthwhile so here's as good a place as any...

Currently getting over a stinking cold. Usually they only affect badly for a day then linger for a bit. This one knocked me for six for two days and I'm struggling through a third.
Feverish dreams filled with detective stories that I'm convinced if I solve them, I can fall asleep properly. Weird.

Also a week today I'm having my first ever tooth extraction at the grand old age of 29. And I'm cacking it. Mostly cos I hate needles. As in I have a phobia of needles. They've promised to sedate me as well as inject my gum so I should be in La-La land for the most part.

Some people's backups at work have fallen out of sync and it's a bitch to get people's laptops off them to re-sync them. As a result someone's HDD died the other day and they nearly lost all their work. We sent the disk off to a data recovery specialist and they have recovered all the work. It's only costing a mere 930+ quid. Good news, bad news eh? At least I'm not entirely to blame as she was warned a while back that her backups were falling behind.

Other than that, my TV's been fixed under warranty and no longer has funny stripes down it so I can watch what's shaping up to be a damn good series of Dexter.
