The account splitting Mythic were talking about a while ago. Did they ever bring that in?

Not Euro though afaik. I did rightnow it a couple of years ago and got a negative, then my wife quit the game so it wasn't really an issue for me any more.

GOA said something about that some years ago and iirc they just don't want to go through the hassle. theres nothing thats really stopping them but themself.

Why did they say they wouldn't implement it?

Mythic and GOA use different subscription systems, so they'd probably have to code the tools for account splitting from scratch instead of using the Mythic system.

Some previous threads asking about it are [thread=32953]here[/thread], [thread=28495]here[/thread] and [thread=20847]here[/thread]. It's been years since Mythic implemented it so I seriously doubt they'll start now.

Won't happen, if you look at the US version you have to have an empty account or an active account with no characters on the destination server. It's not actually that useful.

Hmm more than a couple of years ago as it turned out lol. GOA gave me their usual detailed description of the problem:

Hello,

no, this is unfortunately not possible - we regret... :)

Yours sincerely,

I notice that Camelot Herald mentioned that they are getting a lot of
requests to move characters belonging to other family members to
separate accounts, and I wondered whether this was possible on our
servers? My girlfriend has started playing DAoC using my account and
levelled her character to 40. If I buy a second copy of the game and
another subscription, could her character be moved? Neither of us wishes
to start again from scratch, and we'd really like to play together in
game.

Many thanks.
