Its time to get a thread going about movies youve recently watched so pop your corns and start your torrent program or your DVD and get watchin'!

Write a short comment or post a trailer if you like

Ill kick it off with a few ive watched recently.

Machete was fucking awesome. I mean he bangs 3 hot celebrity actors in 1 movie, quite impressive. Great reaction shots

Ive also fallen deeply in love with A Prophet. If you havnt watched it, do it!

also, in no specific order:

Fightclub
Inside Man
Tremor
Back to the future triology
The Prestige
Valhalla Rising - Great movie too

Hoping to get some inspiration from you guys of what to watch next!

BTTF trilogy went down last weekend too, though i have to disagree with valhalla rising; it's complete toss and the most boring movie of the millenia so far.

I watch a lot of movies, hard to throw some down. Hmm, maybe some special mentions;

The Losers - Surprisingly good, was expecting complete bullcrap, but was actually entertaining.

Stan Helsing - Ok, it's a titties poo fart comedy type of thing, but it's closer to the original scary movies then the new disaster movies, so it's actually kind of fun to watch. Well, with alcohol and a stupid mindset ;)

Salt - Not for all, plenty to complain about, but if you take it as a bourne'esque series starter, it's a'ight. Angie Jongie is always good.

MacGruber - Could've been great, some hahas, not too impressive.

I hope they serve beer in hell - Promises a lot, delivers little.

How to train your dragon - Awww, snirf, cooool. LAdies prepare thine sniffytowels, men quaqrantee cool movie to watch with GF, you won't be bored.

Date night - Well, nothing you'd remember a long time. Some haha, overall ok.

Things to avoid(or, if you really don't have anything better to spend time on);

#1 cheerleader camp(not relly worth it)
Apocalypse of the dead. There's...meeeer...well. How to put it. It's a good 80s zombie flic, but it's nto filmed as such. Catch the drift?
Meteor apocalypse - Just No.
Old Dogs - It's not that funny, might've been too tired tow atch it, but i got really bored.
Transylmania - Ok, if you want some really, really, REALLY brainless poofart comedy, watch it, even to watch how abd it is. But can't recommend.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - No description needed if you havent read the books, then do so.

Tango and Cash - First time ive seen it...more cheesier than The Expendables lol

And about 11pm last night was- Inside Man - with Clive owen and Denzel Washington, which I think is an awesome movie about a Bank Robbery with lots of Twists and turns and Deception

Indeed!

... but it also has one of the best ever lines in a cop film,

"What's this, good cop - bad cop?"
"No, bad cop... worse cop"

Still cracks me up :D

Knight and day - worth the watch for sure. Cruise does a nice role(of himself really :p) and diaz is as lovable as always. Good action, brainless fun, old school james bond style i'd say. 4 stars on action meter from me.

Toy story 3 - this brand should die off now, it was good, but it wasn't anything special. Some touchy scenes that almost brought some pile in mouth, some fun stuff, but pretty generic for the brand.

Grown ups - Not really sure who this is marketed as. Possibly some 40+ families, it has some fun for kids perhaps, some lost glory tear-eye for the adults. For me, it wasn't really anything at all. There was no rel progression, no real good plot, and not that much fun either.

Might be a family movie of some sort, but not even sure it fits that.

The other guys - had high hopes and the start of it was fine as hell. Then it turned to what i was afraid of, with anything that involves will ferrell, generic with attempts at jokes that only come out as half-jokes. Could've been great, now fell a bit short. It's not bad and bet a lot of people enjoy it, just not that sure hit as might expect.

Wish all movies came as directors cut, most of them are better than the cinematic one..

Saw this one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490181/ first cut someone had nabbed it from the cutting tabel, was quite good, then i saw the dvd and it was 50 min shorter and well not so good.

I watched Hard Boiled last night, was pretty good. Some of the best action scenes i've ever seen, especially the last one that went on for a good half hour atleast :D

Just saw Battlefield Earth.

Have to say i'm a bit disappointed.

At the hype of it being shite that is!

It's not half bad, if you watch it in a right set of mind. Trannies invade earth, people fight back. These days it's actually rather good for a B-class movie.

I was expecting proper shite, but it was just "well, could've been worse".

The funniest part is that it had a better story then Avatar :D

if you get a minute, watch the BBC's "The Thick of it". Brilliant. Available on DVD or the usual sources.
