Ok, bit bored, so sorry in advance. We just got the menu through for our Christmas meal at work. What would you go with?
Brookes Speciality Christmas Menu

Starters:

Fresh Seasonal Soup
Served with a Cheddar pastry twist

Home Battered Chicken Fillets
Drizzled with a sticky chilli glaze

Pan Fried Medley of Mushrooms
Bound in a tarragon and paprika creamy Sauce and served on crusty garlic bread

Mixed Crab & Prawns
In a garlic & chilli mayonnaise, Served with salad and warm baguette

Main Courses ? All main courses are served with seasonal vegetables

British Turkey Escalope with Apricot & Cranberry Stuffing
Served with roast potatoes and a redcurrant gravy

10oz Rib eye Steak with Bernaise Sauce
Grilled to your liking and served with chips

Duck and Bacon Pie
Topped with lattice puff pastry and served with chips

Braised Lamb Shank with Rosemary, Mint & Redcurrant Sauce
Served with Roast potatoes

Large Sundried Tomato, Mozzarello & Goats Cheese Ravioli Parcels
In a rich tomato sauce with new potatoes.

The duck and bacon pie does look interesting though.

Rib eye steak is f'kin gorgeous. Second choice would be lamb shank as that can be nice too. All of the other courses sound nice.

I'd avoid the duck pie if I were you. Had a duck and orange pie once and it made me heave.
