What would help RvR, imo

REMOVE THE ASSSIST COMMAND!


Think about it, would really be like in the old days where u actually have to use some skills in rvr as caster/tank ..

Agreed, where is the skill in all tanks simply assisting and sticking to the target running around in a big circle until either they're dead or the enemy is.

I think my bonedancer is my only toon with /stick on qbar1. I still laugh at the idea of a caster grimly sticking to an enemy.

Just wait for ToA. RvR is going to change big time, which you'll see if you've been keeping an eye on the skills that are going to be available. Thats not even taking into account the RvR patch.

Assist tends to only work in small/medium battles. Once you get to army level you want casters with AE and lots of range (shame SMs suck at ranged AE ). I think also, anyone that blindly assists is going to lose against even half-awake groups. Often you have to be aware of that seer thats getting slapped or a squishy caster thats getting hit. Assist selects your primary target, but you still need to be watching around you to win.

Bear in mind I either play casters or seers and am used (amused?) to being the first target of an assist train and sometimes I still make it through alive.

remove assist for tanks, if you remove it for mages then debuff-groups are even more boned then they are in 1.65


assist is main reason I quit playing my zerk 5k or so from rr7, its so FUCKING DULL, even if your MA, you know you have a group of monkeys on your back pressing 3 buttons uke:
