Songs for the deaf - queens of the stoneage.

Surfer rosa and the come on pilgrim e.p are combined on the one cd now. 21 tracks for 4.99.

I've got that version of Surfer Rosa and Come on Pilgrim, don't shorten it to 'pil' ffs, it confuses me

Said this in the Fallen thread, but this is a superb CD, and more than makes up for the shitness of St Anger, which just is NOT Metallica at all.

Ripping it to my hdd atm too.

Haven't had the cash to buy any CDs for over a month now . Sucks. Still, last ones I bought:

Radiohead - Hail To The Thief (like everyone else)
Love - Forever Changes (the 2001 remastered version)
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (kicks arse)
The Roots - Phrenology (also kicks arse)

Both very good, but Distorted Lullabies is better.

Only reason I brought stereophonics album is cos of Maybe Tomorrow, great song. outshines the rest of the album easily.. Madame Helga is crap, but one or two songs on the album aren't bad, just a bit of a disappointment, it's only an average album.

Whoever said the Strokes sound like this album is a deaf mother fucker, its guitar ROCK this is, jeez, they do like minute long guitar solos n shit, nothing like the strokes.
