What Was/Is Best AGP Gfx Card?

I am replacing an AGP graphics card and before I go and get another one I was wondering what was the best one, the one that is being replaced is a Nvidia 6800GT but I won't get another one of those seeing as this one has died.

Any advice my nerdy luvs?

From what Ive red m8 the 6800GT was pretty much as good as it got.

ive had the 7800gs which is the 7800gt its preety damn good smoother frame rate in bf2 at 1920x1200.

ati are apparently releasing an even better agp gfx card so nv might release another uber one

Gah. Thats what I've got, just goes to show how things become old-hat. I got it about 6 months before HL2 came out IIRC.

I bought a 7900GTO last week, and contrary to my expectations its a real improvement in games. Im now playiong CSS at high res with everything on full, and mostly it stays over 100fps, except at super bust points where it may go down to 75 or something.
Well pleased with it
