my cooker is old and i need a new one, mrs dark orb wants a separate oven and hob, thing is the cooker we have atm is a full standing one, so we would need a carcus to house the hob and oven.

Have any of you guys or girls done anything like this before and where do i start with websites

i found http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/sto...jeecflgceggdhhmdgmi.0&page=Product&sku=438071 at curry's, but i have no idea where to get the carcus for it to fit into or how hard it is to sort out.

rep for most sensible answer

Imho a seperate oven and cooker is the best thing you can do, because it gives you the best flexibility when it comes to what cooker you want. It's also much easier in case you need to repair of exchange one of the two parts.

Of course that's my opinion, but I'd get a really nice oven and then a gas/induction combination for the cooker, because that's the best thing you can have.
I always had gas at home and I really love it, because it gives the best results when making meat in a pan (I got a forged iron pan … takes some time to get used to, but awesome thing. If you want to know more, just say so :) ).
Induction is just the upgrade to a normal electric cooker and the warming up / cooling down is like a gas cooker, which basically means it's awesome =)

Either you find one to buy, or you get someone to make you a carcus. Try looking at your local carpenter what he would charge for such a thing. At the end of the day, it's not much more than a few pieces of wood put together.
