Usually their allright fags, the odd dodgy one but nothing to bad. Yesterday we got some L&M, they're fucking crap. I won't smoke them if im dying for nicotine now.

Anyway, as i was smoking them i looked at my fingers and they're FUCKING STAINED with dirty nicotine. Its fucking rank, i've tried all sorts of shit, sanding my finger down abit but the shits still there.

I think the economic reasons were more of an incentive than health reasons for me, I've never been one for looking too far into the future and the monetary benefits were more immediate.

The pic that Lamp posted is something similar to what they showed us in school when I was a kid. For me that alone was a good help to never start smoking.

My desk has a little pull out surface for my mouse and keyboard, above the WASD buttons there is a black patch with yellow edges above where i hold my fags, made me think what sort of shit is in my lungs.

Going to the doctors in the week for advise on giving up.

It's around 20 years I think until your lungs are cleared but even then you'll still have twice the chance of getting lung cancer then if you hadn't of smoked. That said, it's still a much smaller chance having quit and then there's the chances of everythingelse which do return to normal.

I think after the first few days the physical addiction has for the most part gone but the big tests are putting yourself in situations where you used to smoke. Silly things like going to a friends house where you used to smoke will be difficult but it does get much easier.

Teh "cancer scares" and lung things, all very individual too. And really a pile of wank unless you're in the minority of people getting some ill on to you. Doctor said i've got nothing in my lungs, and can't really believe i have smoked for over 12 years or so. But, i have, also, look at f*cking keith richards and ozzy osbourne, those guys are the pinnacle of bad habits and still kicking around.

I could also quit, but that's just because, well, i get bored of doing the same things.

i really dont want to give up smoking because i actually do enjoy it (Tris dont read this bit man) I just love coming home, having my lunch and my afternoon hot drink of choice with a cigarette, i love hand rolling them and i really like the taste of my liquorice cigarette papers (that actually dont taste at all like liquorice).

I really like it at the weekend too when after we've done the shopping and put it all away my bf and i will sit on the couch reading free property magazines that we picked up at the supermarket, drink a coffee and have a smoke while discussing which house we would like to live in eventually.

and i like to curl up in the evening and have a smoke after my supper.

i bloody enjoy it and i refuse to give up my two measley fags a day because of some poxy european ruling dictating to us how we should live our lives.
