What spec are BM's using these days?

Have to point out that if you have 40 blades+10 it's not as good if you have 50 in blades with no bonus, so your dmg variance is worse and your styled dmg with blades is lower, CD styles don't do enough to justify 50 in it.

Roll on the day they change CD and make it worthwhile for us to actually use

Agree with elerand there nothing in cd line worth speccing cd to 50. If I could respec my stats would look like

50 pierce
44 parry
36 cd

The parry will be more useful imho, and I'd finally get stun

As for having slam... Would rather have the extra (and that's a lot of extra) points in parry or blades.

Ask alpha how he liked my shield, blocked about 4-5 attacks in a row with an evade either side, if I hadn't run out of end going after him I would have slammed again (this was about the 2nd time in 2 mins he came for me, killed the ment I was with) and gone dual wield for the final touches, sadly no end crystals and he must have scraped some mana up from somewhere cos he stunned me and legged it at 25% health, was a great fight

Ok it's not uber, but tell you what, roll up a BM, then have a good cry at how shite CD is

I loved having 50 pierce, 44 CD, 36 parry and 9 shield, just got bored with it, shield has worked out well, even with 16 cd in my current spec I have enough bonuses to hit offhand a reliable number of times.

tbh I don't think I would have done so well if I hadn't had a shield and armour that's strong vs slash (and capped slash resist) unlike scale
I already have a lvl 50 hero thanks (read below) and it's pretty dull compared to a BM with a little bit of versatility, it's fun and I'm sure it's why you play a zerk right?

I fought bluwi solo, followed by a lvl 50 troll warrior a few nights ago, seems I didn't gimp myself at all

If CD is fixed I'll be back to it, till then I'm happy with what I got

Best hope for bm's then is to get as much quick as possible, maybe the attack speed increase ra, although it's expensive tbh and get the slowest weapons u can find and hit like the clappers with them with haste buffs and dex/quick buffs.
I always intended to build for speed, changed a little on the way but I'm getting back on track, the rain of fire etc ra's are a tad expensive, but lookk at it this way...3 skill points for something that adds maybe 10-15 dmg per attack, non stackable with TW, lasts twice as long and can be used every 15 mins, now buy either 2 types or 2 lvls in one and compared to our AOEDD RA it's better vs a single target at least.

Let me know how you find it in rvr or even pve, be interesting to hear how it works with what a BM does best.. damage over time.

Really you guys want to get the spec's and tips off Talivar/Karl and almec, these are the BM's that have really caused me lots of pain in rvr.

I know them in game fairly well
I changed spec for some fun, I like it and maybe I haven't caused you such pain because I don't rvr as much as they do

Own some lose some, that's how it goes
