What resist to pick!

If you could choise between these resists as a druid, for fg fights, wich one would ye take?

25 body - 25 cold - 25 crush - 26 thrust - 23 slash

now for the following resists i can swap 2x9%

so 11 heat - 23 energy - 5 matter - 5 spirit
or 11 heat - 5 energy - 5 matter - 23 spirit
or 18 heat - 5 energy - 5 matter - 14 spirit

yep this would be my choice aswell.. if ur nurt spec ur gonna be running with yellow or red heat buffs and energy/matter u can prety much forget about in a temp tbh.

I'd actually take high energy these days..

Spirit is SM PBAOE (if your getting PB'ed by an SM as a druid, somethings very very wrong!) and wind theurgs ooh and smite clerics + necro's (cough!).

Energy is thanes, valks.


Here's my reasoning..

Lets assume the only one of those spirit classes your actually bothered about is the theurg, if the theurgs nuking you then either he sucks, or the rest of your support is currently being chased about by pets.. chances are your probably going to die at this point regardless of your resists.
Thanes, and certainly valks are the new mid FOTM.. Your also likely to find that the damage being put out by them is actually healable, not least because there's a chance that your other healers are free while taking this damage. In this case high resists might actually be the difference between life and death, not 3 nukes or 4.

Anyone care to actually explain why they would take high spirit over high energy, given this statement it seems completely none sensical.

And spirit isn't? given your going to get 2 shotted even with capped spirit resists.. and the only class that's going to hit you with it won't be nuking until your support isn't in a position to heal you?

Energy probably accounts for 2/3 of midgards current FOTM tank's damage, doesn't sound like a huge waste of resists to me.

well he didnt say what class... so i have no clue.... i got 2 shotted on my eld by Delira.. others havent been able to do that... + they have one caster relic

have to agree but thats why you have a ELD in the grp to deal whit interupts on thergys
