I never listen to music while I´m on RvR. But while I´m level and crafting I can listen to everything from Mortiis to Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey, Metallica, Dark Funeral or even Dolly Parton. :p It all depends on the mood i´m in :)

Well, I dont often listen to music while rvring, cus I almost only rvr with my guild, and we run TS, but when we dont, I listen to :
Nightwish, for example, Run over the hills and far away
Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark ( while soloing :> )
Maybe some Metallica
Random trance music :D

Or, sometimes, internet radio :drink:

for big ass zergs and nice fg fights, RAtM, System of a Down, White Stripes, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple...

When soloing in rvr, I prefer a less focused background music, thus going for random punk songs, from either Ramones, Rancid, Violent Femmes... and various others, non-punk.

Cesaria Evora, Cliff Richard, Pink Floyd, Rhcp, Chemical Brothers, Louis and Ella, good old random blues... stuff.

Depends on what's going on...

Sieges & Open field - classical, disturbed, fear factory, soulfly, classic rock (Skynyrd, Purple, Zep), 70's funk
Relic Raids, defence or attack - classical, nightwish, fear factory (stuff with some urgency to it)

Something about the mood of it, if you ask me. Not the most conventional of tastes, but I see I'm not alone here, either...but Cliff Richard? oO

Is that the knife someone else used to stab you for listening to Sir Cliff? ;)

If it's what you like, that's fine, but it's not my cup o' tea. I certainly can't imagine listening to "Summer Holiday" or "Bachelor Boy" whilst standing on a keep wall raining death on the poor fools at the gates...

RvR's great with some fierce music on. I've normally got a load of random stuff stacked up in winamp in the background (Fear Factory, Massive Attack, Prodigy, Anthrax, NWA, Ice Cube, Missy Elliott, NERD, Nine Inch Nails etc).
