You know what, MV could have been great but they lost the plot somewhere around 30 minutes and never really got back to it. Instead they concentrated on Colin Farrell boinging some oriental bird for half the movie and completely fucked the film in the process. Now you must notice that this is becoming a common theme in films starring Colin, the whole movie becomes a showcase about his sexuality and attractiveness to women, the plot gets totally sidelined in the process. Fucking tragic.

I love the film too, I just didn't think she needed to have been 'normalised' to be accepted like that.

Well they weren't normalising her as such, they were telling the story of why she was hiding behind a persona and in the end she is unmasked as the true person she is. The truth is that there aren't many real life teenage nymphomanic cleptomanic drug addicts around and those that are percieved that way are probably just pretty fucked up because of things that have happened to them while they were growing up. Underneath all the pain and disfunctionality are just normal people crying out for some love and attention. When Ally Sheedy's character gets a little of that she starts to come out of her shell and people see her for what she is, a normal teenager trying to hide her pain any way she can.

Cujo... totally crap film, great book - like a lot of Stephen King novels, but Cujo (film) missed the whole bloody point with the poor kid, it's supposed to be a tragedy ffs!! All that anguish and eventually the mother grows a pair, goes out and batters the rabid dog, for nothing except in the film, bahhhh!!!!!!

Planet of the Apes (Last movie?) had the worst ending EVER. It was hardly an ending, felt like it stopped where it finally got a bit exciting.
