There are a few flanking routes that are great for solo players who have a nice ranged attack (archers and bolt mages)....the general thid population hardly ever expects it.

Water is your friend in thid, so many poeple seem to ignore the huge tactical advantage given to you by the moat, thats the only hint im gonna drop :)

Good bg assassin... (imo)

A good bg assassin should know who to attack and when. He should also have the patience to solo.
The good assasin knows the terrain, he knows where there's usually enemies and where to move if he needs to avoid them.
A good assasin can be useful in a group, especially in keep defences where he/she/they can focus on killing the ones that are using the rams etc.
A good assassin stays away from the stealthzerg though and picks other targets to kill.

just some random assassin thoughts wich are all imo. I've played assassins from all realms now and haven't grouped once so far, only cooperated to take down key persons in keep defences and it's been fun almost all the time :D
