What is "WoW" as in "a WoW drop"?

Keep seeing people talking about WoW drops and how they sell for lots etc. etc. but what is WoW?

Yes it's Wretch of Winter - a big spider thingie (I think) in Raumarik - very nasty but good loot

They come in many shapes(sp?) and are doable with 1fg if u r lucky

Most evil one hit for 1250 damage, no more, no less.

A savage(SI class) with a full aug/mend bot can solo a wow

spiritmaster specced in spirit summoning and a mend/pac specced healer with ALOT of power potions can take almost anything

given it takes like three hours, but the job gets done for sure ^^

well thats just luck really isnt it that u dint get 2 shotted in 1 round got hit thru bt for 2300 today.

also must have taken u about 30 minutes

infact more i read this the less likely it seems lol

We did it three or four times.

GG WoW is easy for us compared to one like the Scorpion WoW. That's a hard bugger.

Usually takes around about 10-20 mins to keel GG one, others go down pretty fast.

The worst ones are the ones that hit more than once every 3 seconds, alot of healing + BT spamming with those.

1 50 thane
1 50 skald
1 38 runie (8sec pbt)
1 38 shammy (end buff)

We killed Hugi +add, all wows we found, tried rauma revenant, got him to 50% life =D.

With pbt + heal for backup u can kill virtually anything, it just take alitte more time.

A little WoW info:
Spider (Easy)
Trow (Easy)
Boulderling/Host of Earth (Easy)
Scavenger/Djupt (Hard)
Scorpion (Hard)
Jotun (Very Hard)

Scorpion & Jotun have high frequency of piercing pbt.

Have also seen a wretch/mora wow, I lost sight of it before group arrived to kill it, and we didnt find it again.

4 out of 5 of the wow`s are killable with a small group.. me and a guildie often kill them with 2 warriors/shammy/pbt runie.. only one that makes us say ouch is the GG WoW which hits for 1250+ dmg :/ apart from that the rest are fairly easy.. again just takes time.

btw the level of the wow determines what it drops there is a specific loot table for each wow level which range from 70-78

believe its 73-75 that can drop the Shrunken Ribcage/WoW Belt and Icebound Warshield.

With 31% crush resist, GG WoW, -if- he hits, does so for around 1000 damage...
