What Is The Worst Drug?

im posting this because i have just finished a couple of heated arguements with some of my close friends.They were bitching and moaning at me for "partying" too much.

They would blow the head of me about how pills are bad... and how many people are fucked up from xtc (one quick google search finds me this http://bmj.bmjjournals.com/cgi/content/full/326/7380/80?ijkey=vjrrqXmmd7k1o)

anyways mid way thru their arguement , they stop to light up a ciggerette ... in my eyes nicotine is a hell of alot worse.. passive smoking and all the rest.. the same goes for alcohol..

hundreds of thousands of irish homes are ruined by alcohol addiction.. why? .. because it is nearly seemed O-K by the general public because it is such a close to home kind of subject.

But my point is , what is the worst drug? in my views its a close tie between nicotine and alcohol.

Completly forgot about crack, dont see much of that over here , but add that one in under the heroin section i suppose.

i also should have put a Other section in there for stuff like lsd but I cant remember that to be a homewrecker kind of drug

yeah i understand that , but most people dont see the line between abusing a drug and useing a drug.

mainly because we are brought up in a culture where "DRUGS ARE BAD" no matter what..

well, it's all about relative terms innit. heroin is most probably the worst all round - it becomes a lifestyle. a fucking shit one, more of an existence, but none-the-less an all-encompasing lifestyle. whereas weed is a lifestyle too, and just as shit imo - as pot heads become so encased in the whole culture of it and just spend so much time vegetating and getting fat. pills have crappy come-downs and make most people act like arseholes, same with coke. nicotine is just dirty and makes you smell, and is anti-social.

can you fucktards not say anything about drugs unless you have actually done them as the actual fact is that there are very few cases where drugs kill people, ive done some cocaine, speed and LSD just to see what its like, i occasionally have the odd hash but nothing serious its more on the persons demeanor and character. Im not seriously into them, but occasionally when i feel like a line and someone has some ill either blag some or buy some.. But im still level headed i think. Depends on how you use/abuse the drug imo.

Heroine will be by far the most addictive drug on the list, however i'd say its less dangerous than alcohol for example as :
1) a tad harder to get
2) can't do it in public ( so you will bother less ppl when on it.. Shitfaced on beer you can caus some serious damage to yourselve and others)
3) not socially accepted at all ( not in Belgium anyway)

on the other hand, take 2 shots of heroine in the same week and your basicly fooked, while you can get smashed on beer every single weekend and still be fine. depends on the person really..

Most dangerous drug would be alcohol i think, just caus there is a lot more abuse than there is with any other kinda drug ( amount of people doing it)
But the drug i'd say you better never ever do would be Heroine.

Personally i think all soft drugs (such as weed) should be legal, only buyable from uk distributors and taxed at a premium.
that way
1) all the morons who OD (i know you cant od on weed, it was just an example above as a soft drug) can pay for their treatment, ableit indirectly.

sure I read that nicotine is harder to quit than opiates, but the taxes from cigarettes are all gratefully received by the government

I've known people who take speed and it's all recreational, not hurting anyone, etc, but also one or two that have thieved and lied and generally acted like (insert usual heroin addict stereotype)

alcohol is possibly the worst, makes monsters out of (some) people, yet it's the most socially acceptable (and yes I drink, shush, I like to have a dance/flirt and not act like a cnut tho)

in short, I think it depends on the individual; everyone has a certain capacity for certain things, and some people shouldn't be allowed near multivitamins

Nicotine, anti-social? I can't remember how many times I've got talking to women just from them asking for a light or a fag.

Heroin is pure shit. Anyone who has ever watched Trainspotting knows this. Even the scumbags using it nickname it "junk".#

Crack isn't listed there but that is also shit. A cheap shitty drug for people who cannot handle reality.

The rest of them are only bad if you get hooked. If you have an addictive nature, don't do drugs. If you can handle them then they are fine as long as you don't do them every week.

I hate druggies, but I do not hate people who use drugs for recreational purposes. Life is for living, not for worrying about every little thing that might hurt you. The food chain is so poisoned now that pretty much everything we eat can cause cancer or whatever anyway, so I just don't give a shit anymore really.
