What is the quickest way to kill someone theoretically with an SB?

This kind of carries on from the end of a different post I submitted.

Basically I suppose it's aimed at all high level SB's and perhaps the people they've killed.

I know different weapons have different effects on different characters, but do some SB's go that far as to change their weapon depending on what they are attacking?

What really interests me is what is the most effective and quickest way to down someone.

For example could you structure your reply with this template?
Opening Style:-
Second Style+Follow Up (based on hit):-
Second Style+Follow Up (based on miss):-
Opening Weapon used:-
Changed to 2x 1h weapons?:-
First Poison Used:-
Second or Third Poisons:-
Number of Hits / Time to kill person(say unbuffed/no IP):-


This is based on whoever you are attacking having no Ignore Pain or things like that. Do you have to leg it if they use Ignore Pain?

I'm still torn as to whether to make a super one-hitter, or a stay and fight zerker style SB. I just don't like the idea of Left Axe as I feel it spreads all the other styles too thin, but then again - how often would you land 4-5 successive hits for a whole style line?

Any help appreciated.

yeh shadowblades always travel in pairs "just in case". saves them the trouble of using the skill and tactics u outline above.
or is that just Nolby SB's? just like everyone else roams emain with 1fg, but Nolby have to bring 2fg, just in case...

Well I’m no expert, but this is working for me. I try to use my PA on caster with 2H if I get the time, but it depends on the situation, as I always go with 2 weapons. So yeah I choose my weapons on what I’m targeting. I have both fast and slow weapons as well.

Caster:

Opening Style: PA with dot and 2H
Second Style: CD

Number of hits on yellow con 1-2

Other Classes:
Opening Style: PA with snare and debuff and DW
Second Style: CD
Third style: DF

Number of hits on yellow con 3+

IMO vs a thank it is better to get in a stun from CD as fast as possible, but what I also do from time to time is PA with 2H and snare – CD, then switch to DW and with dot and debuff and DF, and if I evade I do Comback – Frosty Gaze

Assassins:
Opening Style: DF with snare and debuff and DW, and if I evade I do Comback – Frosty Gaze

Vs lvl 50 Inf.... =/release

Numer of hits on yellow con 4+

It is hard to get a PA off on an assassin.

At the moment my natural-spec is SW34,LA39,CS35,EN20 and ST30

IMO the 5-spec is the best spec for a SB at the moment (it’ll probably be nerfed too), and a lot of SZ and CB have respecced (US) or plan to respec (EU). That said I think it boils more down to the skill of the player and how much time they can spend on daoc that gives the most output.

Just aussie getting excited about getting overkilled by assasins as normal...and before you say it yes you have killed me upteens of times and No I have not killed you..

But then again I have never seen you out of a zerg or without 2-3 infils around you.

Probably..when I am really bored I PA, CD and run off lol..no way I can take a tank but I get bored standing there :/

Why not PA w/ snare, CD, run, stealth, PA w/enervating, CD, run, stealth, PA w/dot, CD, run? Slow work

Becuase I have to use a gray snare lol till RR5...my enven is only 41 :/...at RR5 I can get the 42snare ... only 8k to go ...

sorry i don't see infils and i never group with them and i dunno what you are talking about . Should try it more often, assassins getting bored and having a go is about the only time us pure tanks have a chance to get some real rps by ourselves

Aussie you complain about SB always being buffed...

MOST infiltrators are buffed, Harpy has crazy buffs, pin is buffed, zagg is buffed (I think), and its early so I cant remember names..But I know at least 80% of infils are buffed...

Next time you say somthing about shadowblades plz takw a look at your own "Assassin" class.

Thing is, slam has no to hit bonus, this REALLY sucks against Evade 7 and x levels of dodger

While they're stunned back off restealth and switch to dual weild applying DOT and Debuff poisons and try to repeat PA + CD. If they've moved use Garrote

Heavy Tank Classes
Weapon type: 2 Hander
Poison: DOT
Opening Style: PA
Second:CD

Use same tactic quoted under Clerics/Paladins.

Scouts/Rangers
Weapon type: Dual Weild
Poison: DOT and Debuff
Opening Style: PA
Second:CD
Third: SS

I favour duel weilding against Scouts to ensure they can't pull off Slam.

Yeah sure Aussie you never group with Infs And when I've discovered you sneaking about in the past, I've always attacked you and most of the time you've ended up dead, if this hasn't been the case it's because you've made a run for it. And yes you've killed me lots in the past too I know not that I've ever critisised or moaned about it. It's obvious to me you're getting owned a lot by SBs hence your constant whining about us all having Buffbots. I don't see Hunters and Rangers coming on and whining about Infs having the same priviledge.

And considering I hardly play anymore for the record I've never owned or ever have the intention of acquiring a buffbot neither has my Guild. If I had any buffs at all it was on a rare occasion of being in a group or being with one of my fellow Shammy/Healer guild mates. If I was soloing in Hibernia I was buffless 99 % of the time unless you count the odd fend from a Runey as a buff.
