Minstrels and their entourage shall be mezzed/ignored/hacked to pieces by proper tanks.

Blunt would be ok if I intended to go for those tincans... but their long sticks scare the shizznak out of me.

I would need a piercer to do proper damage against chain... naw.. I want my sickle.

See it like that - I finally manage to gank someone - then cut, with said sickle, some daisies to put on their lifeless bodies.

If you spec in blades, you can use sickles.

There is a nice one time drop sickle I want... pitch black and it procs... helped the wife to get hers some time ago (camped whickermen for 2 nights... rl time... *shudder*).

I considered a battle bard at one point, but decided it's just a minstrel without stealth and charm so gave up on it.

I'm usually mezzed, then paralysed, debuffed, slowed, shafted and god knows what. Oh covered in ice as well. The Albion cc appears to work differently to Hib cc. When druid roots, it breaks mezz, however I have been mezzed and then paralysed without being released.

So can Albs mezz a target and then apply another effect?

Paralyse is stun not root.
The stun breaks mez, but because you're then stunned you can't move still. I've had this done to me by both hibs and mids so it's not an albion thing.

Revz I was button bashing and prolly cancelled my Provok like 3 times on Danyan.

Also note my effective weapon speed is 3.3 secs. I was running round with a Shaman Dex/Qui buff and my Qui was 137, that puts my effective weapon speed at 3.0 Secs.

any unstyled 3.0 sec weapon will hit for wank, when I style I am hitting for average 150+30 damage add on guys with lots of crush resist. That is actually very good damage on such a fast weapon

back to the subject, spear heros for sure own middie tanks, but not sure against polearmer. i think they are equal there (armsmen has 2 spec lines but plate, heros have 1 spec line but scale)

Personally I hate tanks, I find them far too dull, the only one that had enough appeal to make me consider trying one was the hibernian spear hero. They look impressive from what I can tell.

Paladin's are quite interesting, especially with the realm abilities you have lots of choices to make in how you will spec and different chants that you can use in different situations.

If you strip your preferred class to the bone, then being a cleric is quite simple too -- look for the health bar that is dropping and whack it one....

Good mezzing stunning and sometimes smiting means you can turn a 9 heal fight into a 1 heal fight, and have a lot more fun. (those are still the core skills i'll have you know)
