What is testicle cancer supposed to feel like?

dont think its cancer anymore tho think its supposed to be on the accual ball
if it is, what I have is a lump in some tissue above there on the right side.
Probably best to get it looked at tho like you are saying. I just wish I had
a nurse for a gf atm ^^

i had something that sounds abit like what ur describing i wasnt sure wht it was so i looked @ stuff on net and asked a few close friends and it took me about a week to get courage to go doctors. then when checked again before booking it wasnt there. dunno if it was my imagination or not but it was def there and it had def gone. got gf for 2nd opinions on both occasions.
no idea wht it was but im happy mine wasnt serious, or if it is im abit screwed now altho if it turns up again im going straight to doctors.

best thing to do is check if you got the same 'lump' on both balls - if u have then it's probably fine.

Altho if ur really worried id go to a doctor, I've done that and yeah i know why u dont wanna go but really it's not as bad as you imagine it.

edit: remember on the base of each ball there's a small lump where a tube comes out and up into the body - i reckon you're mistaking that for a real lump. But if it is that then remember it will be on both balls so if u cant find a similar placed lump on the other ball go see a doctor asap.

If it is serious then going to a doctor will be a matter of losing a ball rather than dying.

No offence Moo, but I dont see how you can reckon he's mistaking something for something else, when he hasnt posted diagrams or accurate discriptions. Hell for all he, or you, know, he could have a mutated ball that isn't attached and dosnt have the little pipe thing.
I'd suggest he goes to a Dr whatever. Better safe than sorry imo.

Ok, I had a scare like this once, I went to the doctor, he did a physical examination, he thought it was odd too so he sent me to a hospital where two lovely gay men did an ultrasound scan (yes I have seen inside my testicles!) and they confirmed it as a varicose vein that was causing the discomfort and pain.

They can vary, if it's a very short vein that passes through the scrotum it can feel lumpy but as has already been said, get it checked, don't worry about feeling stupid about it, my doctor was more embarrased to be fondling my nuts than I was to be letting him

ok just something to scare u a little bit more, a mate of mine irl found a lump on his back, 4 doctors told him it was nothing, 5th said it was cancer. proves u can never be too sure. he went through loadsa treatment for it but sadly died a few months back out of the blue when he was recovering. kinda scary to know that it might be something even tho one doctor said it is nothing

good luck with ur results tho and hope i havent scared u too badly

Well I went to the doctor and I started off by saying "well this is realy embarrasing"
then I remember there was a short silence (I was waiting for him to say smt like
"bring it, there is nothign I havent heard" or whatever )
then I followed up by saying that I had a "lump in my sack" ^^
he went smt like "oh"

and then we talked about the lump etc I described to him
(I even drew (sp!) him a picture on some paper)
and he said that it was probably harmless (since it wasnt on the
accual testicle but in the tissue above) but that he would have
to feel it to be shure. And after feeling it he said that it
was a bursted blood vessel (sp!), nothing to worry about..
He even told me that he had 2 lol (he didnt need to do that )


Anyhow it wasnt as embarrasing as I had imagined it to be.
