What is it with this Petz thing?

OKay so I thought Id give it a go. Created a dog thing, fed it and all that.
Put it in fights, it loses, feed it again etc, it loses.

I just dont get it. IS this some kinda Tamagochi thing?

Why did it get turned off out of interest? Was it the post farming? I kind of liked it whilst Trogdor, god rest his soul, was alive.

to hazard a guess, there are many issues that need looking at regarding the game. once/if they are addressed it may return. please note that I am guessing

re the petz battle sequence :

When you were actually battling real time the stats for your pet didn't seem to go down real time as damage was taken (well for my two battles didn't appear to anyway) Was it supposed to?

The page just seemed to refresh... with no real time damage shown.?

Bah, i'd just saved up 2000 and were ready to equip my lil' guy. Then they turn it off. Evil! Nothing less than malicous
