Just wondering, im an alb on excalibur, since WoW has been released i think there is no underpopulation does GOA only check on that when new patch comming out, or they change it back when they think its needed?

I have asked this question on rightnow for 5 times, and i did not receive an answer, does that mean all rightnow peeps are playing WoW ???

I'm not sure I understand the question but Goa stopped posting population figures in January 2004. If you want to see population figures though then the following site has done a good job at capturing the information that GoA used to published:

I think youll find the same % all went to try wow, so Hib is still underpopulated. I think GOA will keep a close eye on this bonus, and all you need to know will be on the friday news.

If I was to see that q on rightnow, id treat it the same, file it under "so unimportant i cba to push delete, so it will fester in his inbox for months", as this is the type of question spammed to support, slowing down the process of answering genuine pleas for help.

We check the underpopulated realm status every week. If there's a change required it'll get made a maximum of 6 days after the population changes. We only announce the status when a change is made or after each patch so that people know what the current situation is, it's a bit pointless posting 'no change' every week.

To the original poster, there are no outstanding RightNows in any of the English GMs inboxes. regarding pop bonuses. Either you've already had an answer or you've sent it to the wrong department such as the subs email. If you used RightNow and not the subs email address then check your email privacy and spam settings to make sure that our reply hasn't been filtered or eaten by your ISP or mail client.

mid and hib have a difference of 3% active chars.
and i don't know what active lvl50's are cause they are not stated..

but this is the realm point lastweek:
alb 39%
hib 30%
mid 31%

mid and hib 1% difference.

but what resources/calculation does GOA do with (under/over)population.

at these numbers i would say:
give hib and mid under population bonus.
or remove under pop for hib.

maybe this has been spammed to rightnow a few times but might wanna send an email about it.

I been 50 for a month - still no free lvl <---- No advantage in RvR - free lvls were designed to encourage ppl to go to a realm with the big bonus, not sure how that will work, surely as soon as enuff ppl go - then another realm becomes the underdog

Sadly me is Alb not Treehugger Got some Hib Alts on Pry though but not played em much - so a Treehugger at heart

IMHO I feel that giving an underpopulated realm - bonuses, just encourages ppl to remian the underpopulated realm, I know the ppl involved have no say in it, but as GoA stated the avg char lvl overall is now 35, if lvl 35 is the avg - not many ppl are going to make the leap to a new server, even if it does get help, and ofc downside - if ppl do make the leap, the server gets populated and then loses its bonus Catch 22
