I got the email too and I don't think it's intended to look like that, clearly it's a fuck up :). Besides, it's not working at the moment which would suggest that it's all one big ballsup.

Did they give the site to an autistic art student to design? LOL

Oh it's back, and still looks dire.

I give it 4 max days before they go back to the original.

It won't work on mine, something about a dodgy certificate.

www.bethere.co.uk:443 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

(Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

*giggles*. In their defence, they're taking the comments on the chin: BE Usergroup

I get what they're trying to do with the design, sort of Urban Outfitters "street" feel. Unfortunately its probably a poor choice for a telco, and they got a wall-eyed chimpanzee with the DT's to design it.

I also note there's no copyright footer on the page, well who'd want to claim ownership of that?

Maybe a temporary "Viral marketing" design?

Seems like the only logical explanation for that congealed abortion of a website.

Copyright is default. People only put it there to look cool and because lawyers are 'tards.

I wonder if they're hoping for a BBC article. They redesign the site, make a complete hash of it and get a community backlash then report the information to the BBC who put it in the "Also in the news" and/or Tech section. It wouldn't surprise me given how much news is recycled press releases now.

CMYK colour themes are very in fashion just now, clearly it's wasted on those that are complaining and the old farts on this forum.

Supremebeing I Love CMYK Black T-Shirt

Personally, I don't think it carries well into website design myself, at least not for an internetz supplier/service website anyway.
