What do you think the result of the poll will be, and will GOA act accordingly?

As the topic says itself, im curious to see your opinion / thought about the result of the poll that was held a few weeks ago. (server-cluster poll)

Also mention your thoughts about the action that GOA will take as a result of this poll.

Im hoping they cluster the RvR zones and the Classic/Capitals, should revive the dead pve areas a little.Guessing the overwhelming opinion was to cluster the RvR zones, not so sure about the others.

Just a suggestion i thought of today - why not give a 20% off all crafting timers if you craft im your capital city, or say another 1+% chance of an MP, that'd make it crafter central again instead of goth/housing.

My group not running tonight btw so youre denied the pleasure of slapping me about for 500 a time...

As far as I see it, clustering would have both pros and cons.
Pros:
-Higher RvR population
-If housing gets cluster, then hopefully lower prices on items
-If PvE zones get cluster, better opportunity of lvling for new players, easier to do encounters, farm scrolls etc.
-The opportunity to fight friends if you've chosen 2 different realms on exc and pryd :)

Cons:
-More adds, more zergs, less possible to solo as a non-stealther, maybe even as a stealther as well
-If PvE zones get cluster, places more camped and crowded (I have my doubts if this will ever happen with PvE zones clustered)
-If people have different realms on exc and pryd, it would create the temptation of farming friends chars, bb's or whatever else might be possible - still the 1 hour realm-change timer should help a little bit on it, but I fear it might tempt the weak
-Even more lag if they don't fix it first?

Personally I'm getting a bit tired of always porting berk, run out, get pawned by a hib fg or a sorc, /rel, rebuff and do over again clinging to a small string of hope that I might kill someone on next run. What I'd like to see first and foremost is a more spread out RvR situation where you can see both solo, fg and zerg action when roaming the entire frontier, be it enemy or one's own. In the beginning of NF, I could actually find people near surs/hurb (xp'ing arti's but hey, they were there atleast), around poc, bold and beno as well. Never went to hib much cos I don't like their mean-ass stun, so I can't say how it was there, but roaming the entire of a frontier I like more than roaming a 4th or 5th of it and have stealthers breathing down my neck the minute I step outside a keep.

I'm tired, enough rambling.. givf cluster and a more balanced and spread out RvR situation!

I am pro clustering if it was only for the fact that there would be alot more people to group and fight with.
No idea how it is in the other realms but currently on Alb most people run a set group or a guild/alliance group these days and with luck your able to join 1 or 2 nights a week, I don't like that, I wan't to be able to RvR as much as possible not just 2 nights a week with a decent group.
Also RvR seems to die at around 12pm but if we cluster there would be still FG's running around at that time I think unless now where after 12pm everyone logs his stealther because most groups have split.

Clustering also fixes the problem we have now where RvR is only in 1 area (currently being Hadrian's) so you will be able to port or go with a boat to some area and always get a fight unlike now where you can wonder around for hours and not meet a single person.
Will it be zergy? maybe.. but why do you think everyone is moving to Avalon or another high populated server not because Avalon has less people and thus less zergs then Prydwen.

But I guess we will just see if GOA decides to merge, I for one hope so as I don't like the current RvR we have on Prydwen.

I´d say cluster the RVR ZONE (moore albs and mids to farm), and monitor the boards (FH&Pryd and whatever /I_AM_GAY_DOT_FRANCE_DOT forums have) and DE-CLUSTER if to many people QQ about it. :kissit:

Cluster the RvR zones asap and housing. =(

RvR is fubar even if there is action. I rather see a 200+ albzerg than a stealtherzerg and trios with sorcs in the nights.

Prydwen will vote for a Clustering.
Excal will vote against since for them its zergy enough without 700 Prydwens coming over

Clustering dont lead to automatic zerg.

More people = more action . . and here´s the part : OVER A LARGER AREA.

People CHOOSE to zerg, they dont have to - they could all spread out over different zones.

as it is today allready.

I hope and do think that the RvR zones will be clustered.
And please remember that IF they do then ALL people from Prydwen wil be able to enter the housing zones or whatever zones Excalibur has and the same goes for Excalibur entering Prydwen zones.

Housing can't get clusterd(as clusterd means they are the same zone on both Prydwen and Excalibur) but I think what you want is to be able to enter eachothers housing zones, and that will be possible.
