Not really. I got chain spammed with this by a sorc on my alt and just stood and cast nearsight on her (no quickcast needed).

I am prepared to be corrected in this, but I can successfully interrupt all casters and archers, including nearsighters, most of the time, using the 49 base AE amnesia.
(I get a message in my dialogue box telling me I have interrupted them)

I was advised to use the level 8 single target spell to save mana, but I find that this spell usually has no effect, other than to make the target realise that they are in range of someone casting.

I have a high spec in mind, perhaps it works better for me than for a body-specced sorceror?

Im an infil and im meant to deal damage and chew gum, but all i manage is :

1) die in 3 hits
2) break mezz
3) break root
4) use snare instead of dot
5) pull with mah xbow
6) attempt to melee with xbow
7) use gladius in main hand and an axe in the offhand
8) get clerics killed due to insta healing
9) suck mana dry within any group, be it 6 clerics with power song on from a minstrel and myself

What can i say im an overachiever

but really i just go around looking sexy in leather and leech....

Well, I'm yet to be interrupted by a sorcerer... but then they rarely get more than one cast off before I nearsight them. If they do, there's always quickcast.
