I'm thinking of moving to Excal/Mid permant but I'm bit unsure what char I should make. Soo, you guys have any advices what to make? I don't bother what kind of char it is, so any suggestion are welcome.

if u already play as Cleric - no fun for u play as Healer also.
So u can choose from Rogue, Tank or Caster.

Rogue: SB or Hunter - u'll have problem with exping. In RvR u'll play only (almost) in guild group or solo (Rogue zerg). Did u need it?

Tank's:
Zerks will be nerfed soon.
Warrios do nice dmg atm and looks pretty good after block-fixing.
Thane - nothing personal, but i hate this class from start this game.
Skald - yes, Mids realy need this one. U'll find exp group easy, and after 50 lvl u always welcome in RvR groups.
Savage - aye, this newone not bad. So u can try do that

Caster's:
Runemaster - what i can say. PBT RM (Suppresion) - nice in PvE and good in RvR - but not problem to find RM for RvR atm. RC and Dark - also. I see many RM's LFG MTK Emain every day. So - think more.
SM (Supp mostly, coz PBAE) - PBAE SM - specific class. Exping in PBAE-group's - cheat but u must find another PBAE SM, coz alone PBAEr - it's nothing. Need 2-3. In RvR also - alone PBAEr = defend mode ON -> CC, demezz and interrupt-debuff + PBAE i little. Anyway - if u exp with friend and together come to RvR and found good group - mega fun will be come - trust me
BD - it's very big "????". Sry - never didn't play with that class.

So...

3. Savage or BD. (ehh, anyway - why not?)

skalds = dmg add chant and speed chant(best speed), also got some resist chants (but as they need to play speed or dmg add they dont usually play the resists). All these chants are for the complete group.

There chants are gimp, u never play any other then speed or DMG add, the dmg add is kinda lame and most XP grp know that and take ANY melee over a skald.

The dmg add givf +45ish dmg on SLOW 2H that uhit for like 300 with............ give like 15-20 on faster 1H

1 other melee EASY outdmg the DMG add from a whole grp

oh me bad, forgot the skald can DD for like 50dmg every 20sec also ...... leet

U will NOT get grps while lvling up, altho in PvP u will be LOVED and get grp instantly cus noone sane enough would play a skald up to 50

The skald is so friking gimped it have NO other role the beeing a taxi. altho u get some RPs sometimes when u taxi 1 or 2 SBs to a gate or tk and the tell u u can stay in grp and get some RPs.....

Forgot to add, make a Shaman we NEED playing shamans, midgård have like 20000000 shamans and 1 play, so we all run around halfbuffed and Noone have end regen since it 10mins buff. realy gimps a melee realm with no endbuff.

Dont listen to jarl skalds arent the greatest i own u all class but depending on how and who u play with they can be great fun.
Also there not nearly as fucked up as hes trying to make em sound.

seems to me that jarl hasn't really thought about what the skald really grants for a lair group.
like 200-300 extra damage each round ain't that bad imo

oh, and ofc - skalds are nearly a must in rvr and the realm are currently lacking active skalds

Healer.

RvR Healers are getting rare and it is the Healer that determines the outcome of most (non zerg) battles. With Heals, Buffs and wicked Crowd Control you're everyones friend... but don't try to solo one to 50.

Most RvR groups won't even dip a toe into RvR without a healer (or Skald ftm). So help Midgard out pretty please roll a Healer!

A skald is easy to find groups in rvr and exp, must be doing something wrong then. My lvl 47 skald is turning into a real pain to lvl, u are just a second rate fighter to most ppl and there are more then enough lvl 50 skald in the frontiers so its kinda hard finding a rvr group as well. Would be nice to see a shammy that not a buffbot.
