Ok, I have a fat wad of cash burning a hole in my pocket, and i am sorry if there have been hundreds of PS2 vs X-Box threads bfore but i can't be arsed to look.

On the one hand there is the PS2
Advantages
Good bunch of games
Sexy
DVD
Only £200 now

Dissadvantages
Getting on a bit
Gfx look a bit shabby

On the Other hand there is the X-Box
Advantages
Nice GFX

Dissadvantages
More £££
Halo is about the only good game i have seen but i will probs get that on PC if it ever comes out as a PC title.Forgive me if i am wrong but I havn't seen much on what to expect on the games front.
No DVD (afaik) I don't have a DVD player at home.

Personally I wouldn't buy a console atm. I'd much rather spend the money on a few games for the PC and get rather shitfaced with the rest

Used to be really anti consoles but I am fed up of the stream of shit games that have come out on the PC lately.

Just bought XG3:Extreme G Racing and Devil May Cry. XG3 is very good. It's no WipEout but tis very good. Just about to go try DMC
