No, it's not some crap quiz, it's a site that asks yes/no questions to try and guess the person you're thinking of. Of course when it fails to guess correctly in the end you get the chance to tell it who you were thinking of and put in a determining question, so it's actually driven by all the people who have used it in the past.

Still, it's good fun trying to think of something obscure enough to not yet be on there. I finally hit paydirt with Wonderfalls characters .

I could pull up a definition of dictator from wikipedia.com, then google some random articles debating the issue like most forum internet history. We all have the access to a search engine to do that. Let’s just agree that he had certain similarities that could justify the term in testing an internet guessing game.

I wasn't (not that I'm saying you WERE saying I was, given your phrasing). I was alluding to the fact that at least some of the entries on the site are there only because someone got to a "I guess you are", said it was wrong, and put a further question in. Obviously this means crap people (whoever they are) can easily put totally stupid questions/people in. In this case the person who first thought of Oliver Cromwell and bothered to put a deciding question in was in error and being crap.

The site is *NOT* clever itself.
