hmmm maybe this came in with 1.52 for lower lvls i was 40+ when that came in

My bolts now and then very rarely miss at all and once you get a couple levels of WP and MoM then you get a crit hit majority of the time

Also might be your stats affecting your bolts?

That my stats are restraining me in any way is pretty unlikely as I've got both int and dex capped for my lvl as well as +3 to void and fully specced. I still managed to miss three times in a row on bolts RA's will probably help a lot, I do however expect to lvl a little faster and meet some more funny people in teams and stuff like that if I spec mana from 20 and forth at least. Void gave me some fun the 5 first lvls after becoming an eldritch but after that it's been pretty boring. That's of course my opinion and does not apply to every others. Some might find it fun but soloing is'nt for me, and that's what void elds are best at.

Solo - Of the three Full Speccing Elds, this is about as basic as it gets. Find a yellow, get to maximum spell range, and start castin' one of your Bolts. While you sic that fella on the creature, prepare your next Bolt. By the time both Bolts strike your target, it should be just in range to start nukin' it with your Ethereal Spell. You should be able to take down any yellow with this simple procedure. Low oranges are also possible, but the XP to downtime ratio is basically the same. Just keep nukin' whatever it is you're nuking until it's dead and don't let up. If you have to turn around and sprint a bit that's fine, and there's no shame in running from a losing battle...except in RvR. =P Don't try using your AoE DD to take out multiple opponents at a time because its damage isn't even comparable to your Bolts'. While it's possible to do against low blues and greens, the nature of AoE DDs causes the spell to do full damage only to enemies at the very center of the spell's affected area, and considerably less the farther an enemy is away from that point. In other words, you'll end up killing your main target first and then you'll have to switch targets until you kill them all. It's a pain to do and you might as well just kill yellows.

This is just a small piece I found, but it generally says it all about how to solo with an eldritch. And if you look at the other thread I made about void eldritches wanted in groups, then you'll see that you will do a lot of soloing, but you already knew that prolly I guess You could make a void eldritch a real team member though but you will never get to use your bolts then so what's the use. (that's excluding the 2-3 member teams)

Hee hee i sometimes pull mobs for my groups to use my bolts as i can shave a decent 25-30% of a fins health with em

With points in light you can do the following when soloing

I usually do this in df with moloch tempers

Pull the first one with bolt 1
Pull second one with bolt 2
Then cast mezz on em both and ae DD a couple of times

Thats usually enough to down two yellows at a go. the only down side is that it cant be used on bafs and also due to only 2 bolts u cant really pull 3 blues although i did try it using both bolts and my light nuke lol worked not too bad but was damn close lol

I generally prefer taking out blues with the bolt 2 DDs then other bolt 2DDs with a decent level of Serenity and MCL you can keep that up all day

Yeah, aoe DDing is a lot of fun, especially as va-void eldritch since you have ranged aoe
Killed a lot of lumants and blackthorns that way :whip:

Managed to take 6 at once but it can get pretty nasty sometimes.

With high WP bolts really ownz, can one-hit kill lvl 50 mages with crits. But the rest you get from void is uke: compared to everything else

GTAoE is meant to be decent in keep defense/offense

Energy debuff is great if it ever sticks, but power consumption and low stick rate on high mobs makes it less popular, as well as being single target.

Mages are meant to be tank killers (ok ok you can stop laughing now), not mage killers.. that's for rangers to do
Now if you could 2 shot a tank, that'd make void a viable spec imo

Then again, looking at how gimped I am as full mana spec, I'm probably not in any position to comment on other spec lines

Those spells CAN be handy in some rare situations. But still can't compare to the other spec lines.

Also in RvR a void eld can be further away from the battle

If a bard runs in and mezzes a full grp void can then pick out the yellows and send two bolts at em if there not shield chances are youll knock em down enuff for your guys to kill faster

Also what i usuall do is stun a blue mob and then aimin my gtaoe or AE DD on him and keep casting asap

To Ence: This guy who sayd you you are crap as light eld, sad u the reaons too ... and he wasnt arrogant. And about this itams u did not get, it was really a joke. And this person speaked with your guild Eldriches and asked em to explain you that light is crap.

Just wandering, as i was lvl 10 i heard always what other ppl in game got to say .. ot to advice me .. and i sot if i get high i m gonna help ppl too .. however i discovered i was the only one preson who heard other oppinions and used it. Almoust all ppl i met later as i done my alt or so ... were so CLEVER .. and did not wanted to hear no advices. becaouse of my english some time i just did not wanted to use some hard words to be pollity or so ...

But anyway, i feel bad now, that i gived you this advice that time, and especially of the form of this advce giving.

In whole game i had only 3-4 sutiations which i call bad ones,

it was once with Hithwen, by this damed explaining about light crapiness

once with one mage in my rvr group, since i did not knew she playing only for talk i mean not only but talking was big part of gameplay for she, and was really pissed of her talking non stop and get me no chance to concentrate on rvr, however when she quitted i asked to fogive me.. and heard that i was fogiven

third one was on finns, when i was 43 lvl mage, and one tank sayd i not hihg enough to be main caster on finns and i leaved finns, 2 days later as i was 46 i understood he was right, i made my apologies and we were friends again.

and forth one i had, was one mage on finns who was 42 lvl and wanted to join us, as main mage .. so i sayd u cant do this coz u are to small, and he was really pissed, however i made it all trough too, but never heard anything from this mage.


So u see now, i feel bad for all i made wrong.


Last 3 days i get problem with Tankster, coz she pissed of me, and says it all becose some joke i made about Saadyst, but i try to talk with she, she says always "shut up poma", or something like that. So i ask tankster here now: " Please explain why u hate me so much".

I know my problem i m direct to much, and honest, some ppl cant lve with it, some see it as arogance ... but actually i m far away from to be arrogant, i just cant undertand why people dont beleve me when i explain something, bit later they discover it by his way anyway .. so i ask, why always invent some new wheel .. why dont hear the advices.

So this game is fun anyway. And this forums are more funs than game.

Good luck all. I think i dont have to write my ingame names. All story members know they anyway, and all others can give me a chance to proove i m not so bad as u see at the first look.
