Actually quite wrong there, but too tired to discuss and do all the preaching.
Let's just say that russia was formed by clan rus(vikings) that left from finland. There's actually new(rather) information on the wherebouts of the "viking leaders" and where the larger group of "united clans" were lead from. Many evidence point towards finnish lands, some because of the strategical placement and some because of migration patterns etc.(throat of sea etc)
Anyhoo, russians have very little to do with finnish, except we lived under their rule(ironical*points at upper*), much like under swedish rule(and have nothing to do with them either, but is also ironical), and that's where it ends.
Hmm...guess i had some preach left...BUT...the main point here is that i wouldn't recommend calling any finnish person a russian or a swede, because that would get your a** handed to you on a platter of your preferred cuisine
