Smiters don't exist any more. As for clerics, I never noticed them being turned down much in Avalon city, levelling in groups sucks for most any class below 40 though.

Healing isnt boring, you got wicked power over how a battle is played out. Running around with guildgroups having two rejuvclerics spreadhealing is fun fun fun. And gets decent rps too, far more than i can manage on any of my other characters.

Problem is that all rejuvclerics are taken by PE and FL at the moment, or close enough, seldom get a heal when you want it in randomgroups.

not all

TDS has 4-5 40 rejuv clerics who play in random groups (sometimes because being rp gets kinda boring

as Juiliet states: playing a rejuv cleric in a good group is great fun


and yes i made an infil, like most mids made a savage / healer. (like we need those from alb pov )

survivability of casters is a bitch in DAoTankelot

Hmm, my char exists tho , just found stupid that Ivan mentioned smiters as if still loads wandering in Emain and steal the rezz rp from reju ones...

Cos theres nothing left to whine about paladins, and friars, cos the tinmen fight for like a month (usually duelling in goth harbour, so the Palli population in Emain has probably dropped), and friars are just jammy - someone tell me where it makes sense that a friar can beat an armsmen??

Seems most religion based classes, in Albion at least, need a look at, as they are either the utility bot that Paladins have become ("GIVF END CHANT FFS!!!!"), Clerics who's only offensive line is as effective as Morris Dancing, and friars who dance, sing, eat, drink and kick EVERYTHINGS arse in a duel. I like em, don't get me wrong, and ill never offer to gimp my realm, but no-one can convince me its right when i see a friar beat an armsman.

As for people mentioning the lack of smite specced clerics and me not mentioning the friar and pala rezz ... well ..first things first, i didnt say they existed in rvr anymore all i said was that the spec line exists as in you can major in 3 different lines : rejuve, enhance, smite now cant ya ? so dont turn this into a flamefest, secondly the post was about clerics and support classes i can hardly classify paladin and friar as such.

hillibilly or whatever he's called is a smite cleric, i think he is trying to get his cleric to 50 since like one year now, and no he doesn't get much groups.
