Mentalist probably. Decent nukes, own PoT supply, single target mezz, possible yellow con pet, ghetto heals and the Severing the Tether RA which I hear works very nicely against nasty chanters

Friar, Sorcerer or Champ sound pretty useful as well.

RvR servers are going to consist of lots of gank squads....trust me i know.... speed and crowd control will be needed.

maybe Hero, Warrior or polearmsman- someone who can deal alot of pain and take it. melee characters are far from gimped

Not entirely convinved the PvP server will be my cup of tea, but will definitely try it and roll a skald. They are probably in line for a much needed nerf at some stage, but should be fun to see how the other half live for a bit

No intention of staying in Midgard though -- that place is too damn cold and boring.

/em packs bags for Albion, to prey on those underpowered speed-less classes...

Yes Perplexed you have, you do and I'm sure you will. When melee gets fixed and I can block styles then my ultra defensive skills may turn the battle ... certainly when paladin's get their uber resistances and endurance chant I think I could take you

At the moment, though, you have a tank hybrid class that is capable of outtanking pure tanks. Which is a bit nonsensical really.

In any event my "nerf skald!" comment was very much tongue in cheek, mostly aimed at Klav who is forever calling for someone who owns him to be nerfed

Nerfing reduces the enjoyement of the game, as your class can no longer do what it used to do. Strengthening other classes really should be the only way to go -- if Mythic want to retain their old players (IMHO).
