Sounds like you have an overheating graphic chip.
Have you cleaned the heatsink and fan for your graphic card recently?
Do you have exhaust fans to suck the hot air out of your PC and are they clear of dust and grime?
Are you using up to date drivers for your graphic card?
If you're using a laptop, have you considered using a laptop cooler to cool the underside of your machine?
