What are your thoughts on 1.52?

I think it's a good update in most cases but the thing i mainly disagree with is chain becoming neutral to slash whilst mids get resist,so this could mean even more sbs.But some nice touches are the bindstone in sauv,sound effects and the dungeons being changed.

I like the respec to but i advise people to ask others,use char builder and think a lot before they do it even though i am happier with my new spec now.

well I quite like the new patch, with the new features, new abilities, new icons and some new mob effects.. it was like we were all noobs again walking around for the first time figuring out what to do, had a laugh and finding albs outside of ligen when I logged in, and getting to bind at ligen and come right back while res sick to finish em off was fun

Also the casting animation for might of the champion is so cool.. def my favourite one of all , I won't mind having to cast that every 10 mins hehe

However, the champ self buff is.. uhm insanely good? I now when running solo have 251 str and 1523 hits (I still remember when I had just 1150 hits..) plus my normal good dex and qui.. weapSkill with a baseline str buff capped at 1426ish I think now.. hitting ridiculously hard it's nice, but I feel perhaps it's a bit too much.. I mean.. a lurikeen has more strength than a troll warrior now

I like the new patch so far, best part is binding in PK, w00t!! No more running or getting bloody horses all the time hehe.

I just love this new patch. I'v just respeced my wizzard to PURE fire, and gosh is he rocking now...

The new icons was a bit confusing to start with, but now when i'm used to them, they really look great!

I had another defining DAOC moment thanks to 1.52. Picture the scene:

Thidranki, 1am in the morning, only myself and another 24 infiltrator awake. We decide to go camp mid bridge in the hope of finding something running from MPK to MB.

To alleviate boredom, we gamble dice for 1g a pair of throws each

I lose 5 hands, other infil (apologies, really can't remember your name), loses 1... when all of a sudden a troll runs up with his kobold buddy.

I open with the PA, nearly finish the troll (turns out to be a beserker) when his kobold hunter friend finishes me off - and the other infil mops up.

Guess it really wasn't my night
