best song off the album, its not as perfect as the previous album (discovery) was imo. but then if you've seen interstella 5555, you'd have to think discovery was perfect.

and uh, basement jaxx - just 1 kiss

I wholeheartedly agree on that.

I like Primetime of your life and Human After All, those first two tracks sucked me right in to that album, love it, it's by far a lot of like Homework, seems theyve returned to their roots of more "dirty" beats. :)

Finntroll - Trollhammaren

I've been listening to Finntroll solidly for about 3 days now, its quite possibly the best thing ever.

Good choice for a comedown, have you heard Múm? Particularly the album 'Finally We Are No one' I've had the album for years but never really understood it's appeal(except for Green Grass of Tunnel). I tried MDMA Capsules for the first time on Saturday and someone put this on at about 6 in the morning. The track ' the land between solar systems' is probably one of the most amazing pieces of electronica I've ever heard. Absolutely perfect for a comedown. In the past DJ Shadow and Broken Social Scenes - You Forgot It In People were my picks, but I've often gotten lost in some kind of trip, they can be harsh/cold and involving....I don't know if that's how Múm intended it to be listened to but...fuck.

Haven't heard Múm personally but I get what you mean about certain tunes sending you off on a mini-trip when you're lean. Echoes did that to me in a big big way at about 8 in the morning after eating lots of acid, saw dolphins and stuff coming out of the speakers. The last couple of mates who'd survived until 8 in the morning (one went to a lecture an hour later still tripping his nuts off hehehe) said they'd never seen anyone look so shocked in their entire life. Happy days.

I saw the word 'Lyla' and wondered if Noel was listening to Derek & The Dominos and thought ".....Yeah, I've been doing this kinda shite for years now..what does it matter?"

*i am aware the song i am reffering too is called 'Layla'.

He gets away with it since he's claiming Liam wrote it (I think). :D

Pity it doesn't have the cool riff that layla does. As an added bit of info people have been saying it sounds like Oasis' version of street fighting man. Dunno myself but hey...
