Probably because you lack education young padawan. Current Value and Machine Code (Current Value & Dean Rodell) are producing some of the finest complicated, melody-driven techno drum and bass around. It's incredibly musical, but won't be obviously apparent to many listeners who aren't familiar with the sound or similar genres.
