I've been listening to some Apocalyptica lately. Its purely instruments no vocals. Violins and stuff ... its nice. :)

EDIT : But it appears they only do covers of other bands songs. Its still nice listening though. ;)

apocalyptica - path, tell me theres no vocals in that? :), still yeh they do quite good even with the violins etc, some of the songs a actually quite heavy,

oh and, i have in flames - bullet ride on :D

Umm, mine doesn't have any vocals. Were you being sarcastic or is there a version with vocals? :p

i think the sandra nasic person is the singer, hence why this one might have vocals and the others not, but its still a good song with the vocals :)
lyrics;

I want to live in fire
with all the taste I desire
it’s all good if you let me dive
with sharks on the ground

you loose your routine
you loose your routine
you loose your routine
cause I found my path

what the hell are you trying
now I know there is something more
what happened to you
still staying on my path
are you still denying
now I know there is something more
that this is the truth
it’s all in you

what do you came for
what did you expect to find
what do you came for
what did you expect to find
what do you came for
what did you expect to find
what do you came for
what did you expect to find

so boundless I feel
and boundless all my fears
stop running back to old times

you loose your routine
cause I found my path

what the hell are you trying
now I know there is something more
what happened to you
still staying on my path
are you still denying
now I know there is something more
that this is the truth
it’s all in you

what the hell are you trying
now I know there is something more
what happened to you
still staying on my path
are you still denying
now I know there is something more
that this is the truth
it’s all in you

Apocalyptica has made something out of putting one vocal track on each album, Path with Sandra from Guano apes, Faraway with that girl from Lambretta (sorry dont remember name, she's your typical swedish blonde anyway) and recently a Rammstein cover featuring Nina Hagen singing Seeman, a quite fitting pick for a song and as a vocalist she mimicks the bassy speechlike vocals really well.

The two original songs both have instrumentals.

The late 70's/early 80's weren't all they were cracked up to be.
Revolving mirrors were not good for you when the room was already spinning :puke:

If you're looking for a cheap sort glint in perspiration,
theres a four-mile queue outside the disused power station,
Oh come away, wont you come away?
We'll go to Deptford...Digby...Tuebrook....anywhere in Albion...
