What are the main sports?

I am from America and don't know how I found this site but figured out it's a UK site, Iwas wandering what the main sports are around their?

Football *uk not american*.

Thats it for the plebs really.
Motorsports, tennis ( wimbledon only really ), bit of cricket, bit of other sports when the big tournaments are on but thats about it.

Oh and rugby as well, how could I forgot one of the worst *sports* ever invented.

Petanque != Bowls.

Both have the same objective, to get closest to the "jack" ball, but in Petanque (also called "Boules") you throw the ball onto a gravel pit type surface whereas in Bowls you roll the ball along the ground, normally short grass or a synthetic substitute for indoor bowls.

My dad plays both and he's very good

I play Basketball, I used to play football(uK) I also play Football(American) I also play baseball and I run track. I run the mile.

Athletics are huge here in America. Our 4 main sports being Football, Baseball, Basketball, and maybe Soccer(UK's Fooball)
To every game probably on average about 60,000 people go to each game. And there are Tons of games all of the time. That's why the athletes are paid lots here because there are so many fans.
If you have herd of David Carr(football Player) he make 49,000,000 dollars.
